Good but to pricey!
Good broadheads. Harvested a nice Tom this springs turkey hunting. Devastating! Hopefully I'll get to try it out on a deer this fall. Overpriced though.

Insane!!! These are insane!!!
I can't say anything any better. This year was my last stand with mechanical broadheads. I had used Rage and gotten roughly 50% fail rate with the blades not opening. I went to using NAP broadheads and they are just too weak and are almost a guaranteed 1 shot and trash. I stepped back to non mech and used the Flying Arrow Toxic. Now that Toxic! Devastating damage but also a 1 shot and trash unless you have spare blades. But for the price of blades, just by a new head. Then I went with these. I leaned on using the Deadmeats but went all in for the Mega. So far I'm three for three on deer. The first deer, I hit in the neck (accident) and the wound channel cut everything. Bolt went in the dirt about 40 yards away. I cleaned it off and will use it for a long range shot when I'm not confident, but the blades are fine with very little dulling. Both arteries went cut in half. Second deer was a through and through the ribs on both sides (never found the bolt). Third deer was a quartering away through the left ribs, in to the cardiac box, out the right shoulder and a blade cut her neck for about 7 inches. I found the bolt 10 yards in the dirt. Cleaned it just a while ago and the blades are near perfect. The function of them are like new. That one will go back in the quiver as if it is brand new.All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. Are they pricey? Absolutely. I think the only thing that would sit better here with these is if they used some sort of screw instead to hold the blades so we could replace them. As my heads are like they came out of the package.Next year I might move down to the Deadmeats but I also question why, as I'm having a great time with these, the Megameats.

Devastating
One shot one kill!!! See attached exit hole. 2 inches as advertised. Shot hit slightly above and few inches behind lungs since deer moved as in shot. Bolt went clean through both sets of ribs and animal was down in 20 yards. A little bent but if you are upset about replacing a broad head after a successful shot I don’t know what to say.

big entrance
We shot a bull and cow elk with the mega meat 125 last month. Bull was spined at 42 yds. Dropped him but destroyed two blades. I tried to straighten to re-use for hogs but the blades will not collapse. The cow was shot at 53 quartering away. Nicked one rib and destroyed a blade. Huge entrance and exit. Double lung and she ran 60 yards. Easy blood trail. It reminded me of using Rage on a whitetail many years ago. I wish the MegaMeat 125 was more durable, but there's no denying how sharp and deadly they are right out of the box.The practice point was good. I plan to take them back to Africa in the spring. FYI:I found an amazing farm in East Cape. Cheaper than an elk hunt!!! and I got to shoot several animals.
