This is the easiet teflon tape to work with
Most cheaper teflon tape brands are too flimsy and roll up on itself before you can attach it to the threads, but this is heavier duty and works much better.

Throw your other ptfe tape away
I have been frustrated many times over the years using normal ptfe tape. This tape is amazing. I've bought about 10 rolls of this stuff to keep in each truck, at the house, at the welding shop, at the store, in my plumbing bag, in my pneumatic connectors bag, and gave some to.my dad as well. Hands down the best teflon/ptfe tape I have ever used. The regular is just so thin and aggravating to use.

What we wanted to use it for didn’t really work. We had a pin size leak in a copper pipe . We just wanted to try and see if it would work for that. But we needed to replace the whole pipe.But for taping end of pipes yes it would be good for that
