Charges fast and works well
I put this to work as soon as I got it to charge the batteries it came with. They charged in less than 10 minutes and they work great in our solar lights. The charger is USB powered and only charges the 14430 battery size.

These work great in old solar walkway lights
I have an old set of solar walkway lights that were not staying lit very long anymore. I've had these for about 8 years now and love them. The first light has a motion detector that brightens all of the rest of the lights. They are also quite bright so I needed new batteries. These fit right and did the trick. The lights now last most of the night again. Much cheaper to replace the batteries than to replace the entire light set. Don't hesitate to use these batteries.

If only...
If only there was a set of instructions, even though this doesn't require that much by way of instructions, this would be just about perfect for my needs. Honestly, if it had included a sheet of instructions it would be 5 solid stars. Instructions covering how long to expect to need to charge up the batteries you put into it (as an example) are about the only thing that seemed to be lacking since the package came with 8 batteries, the charger, and nothing else.It was easy enough to figure out where the USB cable end was, and simple enough to plug it into an acceptable charger (like the charger for an older iPhone, as an example). Once that was done it was easy enough to understand the charging lights and indicators so it came down to just waiting for the lights to all light up for all of the slots that this charger includes. When all were nice and solidly lit I knew I could take out the batteries that had been charging and put in another set.I wanted these batteries to replace the ones that were included in a couple of sets of solar lights that I got at a low price home store type place. Those particular lights are pretty wimpy when compared to a nice set of lights that I got from right here at the A to Z store. In fact even after replacing the batteries I'm finding that I have two malfunctioning or barely functioning lights in a total of 12 such lights. I think I got those lights in packs of two. One bad pack out of the several that I picked up isn't bad, though not that great either. Meanwhile, now that I have this charger and these new batteries I can charge up the batteries in this charger and keep a set ready to drop into the working lights so I can keep them ready and working when needed.I'm still quite likely going to be buying more of the lights that I got from here as they have thus far seriously outperformed the lights that I needed these batteries for, but again at least I have plenty of batteries that are now known good and can charge them up any time thanks to the included charger.

Easy to use and works with multiple battery brands
You can quickly insert the correct batteries into the 4 individual slots using the spring loaded mechanism and the battery charging process is very easy to follow, with the 4 individual stacked LED indicators: 1) The bottom red LED flashes to tell you the discharged battery is in the first stage of charging. 2) The red LED goes solid and the orange LED above it flashes to tell you the battery is in the 2nd stage of charging. 3) The orange LED goes solid and the yellow LED above it flashes to tell you the battery is in the 3rd stage of charging. 4) The Yellow LED goes on solid and the Green LED above it flashes to tell you the battery is in the 4th stage of charging. 5) All LEDs are lit solid to tell you that the battery is fully charged. Each of the 4 LED stacks indicate the status of the corresponding battery and they are totally independent of each other i.e. when you pop in batteries to be charged, the charging state may be different between the batteries and therefore the LED indicators will display the correct charging stage for each particular battery. One minor ding is that the attached USB cord is very short but that was no problem for me, as I plugged the charger into a power strip with USB ports, located on my desk and placed the charger near the strip. The charger fully charges batteries in minimal time and does so without getting hot.

Great Batteries and Customer Service!
Very disappointed with my purchase! The old batteries that I replaced were put back in and worked better than new batteries. After I had submitted this review, the seller contacted me. This surprised me greatly!I was way far past the return period, but the seller offered to replace the batteries at no charge! Totally unexpected. Anyway, I have tested the batteries in my solar lighting, and allowed them to go through a few charge & discharge cycles. They are working perfectly, and they are providing light well past 2:00 am before they start to dim as the batteries discharge. I am now very happy with my purchase, and customer service that is very impressive!

Not great
They seem like same size but my solar lights either go on or they don’t. I think size is off very slightly that I Have to open compartment move the battery around until light goes on. Seems like I’m doing this few times a week.

great batteries, great experience
Revising my review. The batteries I received didn't work in my lights. I believe the batteries were old, but don't know that for sure. Rechargeable batteries degrade if not used. Anyway, the vendor immediately replaced them. The replacements work perfectly, Vendor recommended a charger to be sure they're fully charged, and I recommend that. I learned some things, and because I knew the batteries were fully charged, I determined that two of my lights had been wet inside and were ruined. You can trust this vendor and his products.

BAD BATTERIES
They Don't Recharge an and they only last 2 -3 Days. the regular AAA don't last long either and most won't recharge. What are you sending old batteries that have been sitting on the shelf forever. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
