A gross topic, I know, mucus, but when it is diminished you breathe and swallow better, and function better with a cold. Great product. I only need to take one at a time but I will not be without these and have several boxes stored up. My favorite day time cold medicine, doesn't make me sleepy. My favorite night time medicine because I don't have to sit up to sleep, to keep my throat drained. Good stuff.
