Styling Gel Olive Oil (Pack of 2)

This is a very thick heavy gel that I use when I diffuse my hair to get curls that need to look nice and perfect. I ordered this overseas and both containers had exploded when they arrived, but there was still enough gel in them to use them after I washed them off. I was glad there was nothing else in the package with them. It works really well to hold my curly hair in place with a diffuser without leaving my hair crunchy. Normally I start with wet hair and I put a heat protectant, a curl cream and then this gel on top and I diffuse it until it’s 80% dry it has pretty consistent results. It holds, but it’s not crunchy. I would not try to use this if I was not planning to diffuse because otherwise it would be way too heavy for my hair.

I got it because I saw a lot of good reviewed. It smells great, but felt it didn’t hold all day. But still like it anyway, and will use the rest of the tub.

Purchased for the wife and daughter to use as edge control. Last the whole school or work day. Used for straight and coarse hair types.

DO NOT BUY, THEY CHANGED THEIR FORMULA AND ITS TERRIBLE NOW, I have been buying and using eco gel for 4 years now, and now I have to go find a different edge control. I have 3c-4a hair and I have been using this on my edges everyday. I ran out, so I bought more and IT IS TERRIBLE, it only held my edges for and hour max, its 10x more flakey and it dries up so fast, gives NO HOLD, and nothing else. They changed their formula and the new one is terrible, its completely watered down, do not buy this, and waste your money on really bad gel with no hold whatsoever.

My daughter and I loved this gel, it holds good and is a great value. However her hair started to break off and we think its due to this gel being alcohol based. We found something else that is non alcohol based that is better for our hair so we wont be buying this again.
