Rust-Oleum 1964502 Painters Touch Latex, 1-Quart, Colonial Red

I guess i can only make one post even though i bought two different colors. Anywho... bought this paint in the flat white I love the color. However they're selling it for more than my local Home Depot store. I ran out of paint in both colors had to go buy more came on here to learn they went up on the paint here. So i drove up the street paid 9 something. But all in all i really like this brand and color. Just wished they sold it bigger. You'll need more than you think, you'll need more if you want the job done right because a two coating is always best.I like the color however you'll need to buy two cans. I'm only painting a small area in my kitchen and one just isn't enough because you'd want a second coat due to how thin the paint is. Watered.

This paint has dried super shiny and nice- smooth and silky. BUT, it is going to take me 3-4 coats because you can’t do very much at once at all. If you try to go over one area more than a few swipes it will gum-up and chunk off. Yesterday I was upset when I was painting and the gumming - up happened. I was about to abandon the paint. BUT, I’m going to finish it with this product. It’s honestly is super super shiny. Chalk paint may have been more of the look I was going for, but it’s still pretty. I posted two different types of pint jobs. One on top of unfinished wood and one on top of a finished piece that I didn’t sandy

The color was brighter than expected, but that's okay. Turns out, a quart IS actually a quart. (...smile...) I don't know how I missed the size of the can, but I am able to use the small amount paint for a separate yet also necessary project. (If you do purchase the wrong size, have a sense of humor about it. I took lots of pictures of the small can, which I had fun sending to people.)

I liked the depth of color and it covered in one coat.used it on outdoor decor. I always find this brand to have good solid products

My condo's exterior is light gray and I decided to brighten it up a bit by painting my front and back doors Colonial Red. This is the perfect shade of red for an exterior door, brighter when the sun is shining on it, yet when you look at it through a glass storm door from a distance it's darker, a subtle maroon shade. It took 2 coats to fully cover the previous dark gray. I recommend a foam brush and a roller rather than a bristle brush which left streaks even though I was careful trying not to get them. I waited a week and used the foam brush and roller for the 2nd coat and that was a better finish. Easy clean-up with warm, soapy water. Dried completely in 4 hours so I could shut the door, and there's very little odor.
