These charcoal bags are a lifesaver for all kinds of odors
I bought these charcoal bags on a whim, but man, I'm glad I did. They've been a game-changer for odors all over the house and beyond. A couple weeks ago I had a crazy workload and didn't have time to do dishes for like 3 days straight. Usually if I leave the dishes that long, the kitchen started to smell pretty funky. But I remembered I had these charcoal bags, so I tossed a couple near the sink. It kept the kitchen smelling fresh for the whole 3 days until I could finally get to the dishes. I also tossed a few of these things in a rental car that reeked of cigarette smoke. I spread them around the car and after a day or so, the smoke smell was way less noticeable. When I got home, I realized the entryway was starting to smell like a locker room thanks to my kid's sports gear and the dog. I put a couple of these charcoal bags in the coat closet and it made a big difference. I originally got these for my kid's shoes, but I've ended up using them all over. They're way more versatile than I expected. The bags are a decent size and you get 12 in a pack, so you can spread them out. They seem to last a while too. Anyway, these things do what they're supposed to do. If you've got some smells you need to get rid of, they're worth a shot.

Small, but Mighty Odor Controlling Pouches
Buy these, you won't be sorry. I traded up my diaper genie for a stylish Ubbi diaper pail, but had serious regrets when the stench reached new levels (and not in a good way)! I loved that the Ubbi allows any trash bag to be used, but let me say regular trash bags, even with Febreeze scent, didn't help with the odor at all! Every time I opened the pail to add a new diaper and especially when it was full and time to empty, the odor that seeped out was so strong it filled the room and seemed to hang there for 15-20 mins. My husband found it unbearable and was begging to go back to the old genie that contained the smell a lot better, but after spending so much on the Ubbi, I decided to try these little pouches to see if they can save the day...and let me say, YES, they work wonders! I would highly, highly recommend giving these a try. I have two in my pail now, one on the bottom, the other taped to the lid, and they started working immediately. No more complaints, blaming the dog for the fart smell in the nursery or false sniffs thinking the baby pooped again. I can't wait to try them out on a stinky pair of sneakers next.

Helpful in diaper genie
I bought these carbon purifiers mainly for use in a diaper genie. I would say they work about as well as the bigger brand name ones that typically come with the genies - no better, no worse. When you walk in the room you can't smell the diaper genie, when you open it there is definitely still a smell. They aren't a miracle odor eliminator. But with performance being about equal between them and the big brands, and these being a better price value, I'd rather give my business to a smaller family-owned company. I do like that you can "recharge" them in the sun! That definitely did work and gave me an extra use or 2 out of each packet.

I would not recommend them due to their inability to curb the diaper pail smell.
I wanted to love these, our intention was to use these in the diaper pail to help with the...well...diaper pail smell. These work for all of a day, then the smell comes back (despite changing the bags every day, having these air out in the sun, etc).

It works!
So, I am a first time mom and the stink pot I call diaper pail, got horrendous, even with scented trash bags and scented diaper trash baggies (doubling up didn't help). I own a stylish ubbi to fit the nursery theme. No filter, may I add, but the double locking system promised odor lock in. HA right! They forgot one little detail. It locks the odor in when kept closed. But boy, when opening it, you practice your "Flash" speed and yet you can't close the thing fast enough. The worst part is, the smell lingered in the room and airing out is great until you had to open the Ubbi again. I wiped the Ubbi with Clorox wipes, I even soaked it with bleach water. It eliminates the odor temporarily until the next poopy diaper. I read another customer's experience with her Ubbi and was able to relate. Based on her situation being similar to mine, I gave this product a try. It took 2 pouches (one on the bottom and one tapped to the side as she recommended) and not even an hour later the miracle. I opened my Ubbi....nothing. All I can say....it works!.

Awesome Product! Highly Recommend!
I bought this product to use on my elderly mothers adult diaper genie (I honestly don’t know what to call it) and her closet that her moist clothes and towels sit in. And omg. What. A. Difference. I can sit in my living room without smelling urine. My mother doesn’t believe there is a smell (there is). It’s hard taking care of a parent that doesn’t have any regard to hygiene and refuses or acknowledges there is a problem. These little pouches are amazing! And I love that you can recharge them in direct sunlight! Also there is no pesky smell like using a plugin or spray. There is just simply no odor. It’s great. I didn’t see any reviews on using it for the elderly and decided what did I have to lose? I am so glad I bought these.

Glad I took a chance on these
I have used these for a week so far, and they are great. I put one in the bottom of the small trash can I use for my son's diapers. I can tell a big difference! His dirty diapers used to stink up the room. Now the odor is neutralized in minutes! I placed one near our bathroom toilet and in the kitchen trashcan, as well. I saw on the instructions that you can "recharge them" after two weeks by placing them in direct sunlight for 2-3 hours and possibly get another couple weeks or so out of them. I will try that when the time comes. I am very pleased to have tried these and recommend them to anyone.Update: I don't think the sunlight recharge worked that well, but they work so well the first time around that I don't mind re-ordering ever so often.
