The item wasn't working properly when it arrived (it didn't recognize some of the slots having a battery in them). I messaged the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement that works perfectly. 10/10

These work very well. I had 2 and ordered a 3rd. The 3rd charged the batteries but the screen on the unit flashed on and off periodically. I contacted the company rather than return it and I am glad I did. They thought it might be a bad charger so I used the charger from one of my other units. It was the charger all right. I told the company and they shipped me a new unit that arrived in a few days. Great customer service and an excellent product.

Works great as for the other comme ts of the aaa batteries some times popping out is true but not a big issue at all. Definitely worth buying if you want to convert to rechargeable batteries. Plus it does fully charge and not like other that only 3/4 charge.

AA's seem fine but AAA's not so much. Typical scenario: Load 4 AAA's and then when you load the fifth one, batteries 2 and 3 pop out. Put those back in place and 4 and 5 pop out. Put those in and 1 and two pop out. This goes on and on until you fall to the floor laughing convulsively at the futility. Attempting to load all 16 slots with AAA's is an exercise in self hatred. If you enjoy excruciatingly long games of whack-a-mole this charger was designed just for you! Other than the pop out nightmare, it's fine. I like the display and the fact you can charge odd numbers of batteries and that you can mix and match AA's with AAA's. If you buy it I recommend you buy a wooden mallet to go with it.UPDATE: I had decided to simply keep this thing and deal with the whack-a-mole problem (could be helpful for boosting declining hand-eye coordination in us old dudes) but then it took 10 hours and 50 minutes to charge the 9 AAA's I was able to load into it. Rating dropped from 2 stars to 1 and this item is being drop kicked to the nearest UPS for return to Amazon.UPDATE: After posting my negative review the company reached out to me and made things right. They sent me a revised model and it works perfectly! GREAT customer service!

I am keeping this product because in my work I need lots of AA batteries at each session.Only deducting a star for no dust cover, but really the product is perfect with this limitation.I really wish there was a purchase option with a dust cover for the open bays, Bonus: and a couple C and D size slots.

Works to charge the batteries simultaneously but the screen is constantly flickering. This is extremely annoying, I had the unit replaced but the replacement behaved exactly the same way. I was unable to contact the manufacturer to determine if this is a defect or what, going to keep trying it and if it does not stop with the flickering, I will return before the window closes. I was hoping for this to be a long-term solution to becoming more ecologically responsible.
