Bicycle: The Definitive Visual History (DK Definitive Transport Guides) Hardcover – May 24, 2016

I bought a big book on Bicycles with lots of text and not a lot of good pictures, big mistake.Than I bought DKs book on Bicycles. They have the kind of books I like: gorgerous big pictures enough text to learn something without feeling like I am preparing for a school exam. Beautiful Pictures, eye candy, say alot and keep me awake. Bikes have also been a work of art.I love DK books what was I thinking when I bought the History of Bicycles.

I bought this book for my son who is an avid bicyclist. Ho found the book quite interesting and informative.

The book was exactly as described, and packaged well. I would purchase from this book store again.

Gave this as a gift to a close friend who is an extreme cyclist and he thought it was fantastic. He said he learned a lot about the early history of bicycles and that the color photos were simply outstanding. It is a very large book and indeed it turned out to be a fantastic present for anyone interested in bicycles

This was purchased as a birthday gift for a person who is never happy with what they receive and will complain about everything. We know that this person enjoys riding and restoring bikes. This book is gorgeous and features so many different types of bikes through the years, with interesting information as well as photos and diagrams. For the first time that we can remember, the unappreciative recipient looked and sounded sincerely grateful for the gift. Yes, we were silently shocked by this. This just goes to show that this is the prefect book for a bicycle enthusiast.

Brought great joy to a dieing 94 yr old patient who loved riding

Got this for my dad for his birthday- loves and rides bikes. He enjoyed the history and different styles of bikes. The 2 pictures (inside back cover) were kind of like an extra present- going to frame and hang them up.

The book we ordered arrived in good time and in very good condition. Initially, the book apparently included two frameable photos and those were not in the book we received.
