Double/Single Socket Switch Surround/Acrylic Finger Plate (Single, White)

Works well for my purpose. I wallpapered the bedroom and tore the paper around the lightswitch. Fitted this to cover the mistake and problem solved. I wouldn't say it was particularly easy to instal as I had to get my son, an electrician, to do it but I'm sure any competent DIY-er would have no issue.

Really easy to install, came with QR code for instructions. Looks really good with a mirror like finish.

We tried them on all different standard sockets around the home - the were annoyingly about 2mm to small to fit around them. Okay quality. Gave them away in the end aa they didn’t fit.

I paid £4.59 for this item. It was too thick making it impossible to screw socket to wall. I cannot see cost of returns in policy but I only received £1.80 refund. Item useless and customer service no better.

This is a good thickness and fits behind the socket - you must undo the socket fixing screws fully before attempting to get the cover over the socket so it fits behind it. This was not too tricky but I did need to pull the socket out a little to work it over it at an angle, so also make sure the relevant mains circuit is turned off before attempting to fit. I also needed new 40mm machine screws (M3.5) as one of the existing 28/30mm ones was too fiddly to fix back in - getting one of the existing screws into the back box hole was impossible - just not long enough. Just ordered another. A very tidy finish.
