Great shoe shine storage box.
First of all the cedar box smells amazing but I suppose more importantly, it fits everything I have for shing shoes. 2 brushes, cans of shoe shine, rags, shoe horns and a tube of Shoe Goo. Exactly what I needed to keep it all in one place.

Cedar shoe shine box
The item arrived broken. It's a pretty basic box. I think it would be better if it was lined on the inside with felt. The top of the box was fastened with a small screw. It arrived stripped. but the screw was so small and anchored so poorly that it would have broken anyway. I returned and purchased a different item. Poor quality and faulty construction. I do not recommend.

I was going to store in my closet, but it looks too nice to put it away. I love this shoe shine box. Well built

Poor Workmanship
I HATE having to leave a bad review- but nowadays, it's a good idea to have some quality control, even if you are in China and really don't care much about each piece you make. Yeah, I know, it's just a little Cedar shoe box...I received a box that had very poor woodworking. The person that built it, did nice joinery, but they used a warped piece of wood for the side, and, and did not bother to swap it for a piece that spec'ed out. The entire box, is out of square. Result- see photos.Returned.

It really is cedar
It looks nice, smells great, and fits all of my supplies for one color of my shoe polishes.However, the shipping packaging needs help. The item arrived broken. I will glue it myself as I'm not interested in a return. Understand that it's great, but cedar is horribly fragile in shipping. The poor packaging knocked a star off of my rating.

The cedar wood smells wonderful and can enhance anyone's closet
This is a well-made shoe shining valet. I had hoped it would allow me to store bottles of conditioner, polish and more but it is on the small side. Not as deep so bottles won't fit. Nevertheless, the other models shown had inferior hinges. This model has a sliding top so there is no issue with hinges. The cedar wood smells wonderful and can enhance anyone's closet. I would recommend this model although you are limited for storage space inside.
