Very effective heater..surprised me how well it heats for such a small amount of power use.
The product is suitably packaged, arrived safely and is exactly what I would expect in terms of quality for the price point. It is a robust plastic tube and is an extremely effective little heater.I am using it to provide warmth in a heated cabinet project (approx 1m3 capacity) and it is more than adequate for this job. Please note, it is either on or off, there is no variable power control or thermostatic setting function built in.Heating a room...I haven't tried, but assume it would not be enough. There are larger sizes, I would say for large spaces like a room of a house or a garage, get the largest. You can always wire it to a thermostat after all..Fairly certain it would keep a small shed or greenhouse from freezing if positioned centrally, although again this hasn't been tested by myself.Sensible cable length with proper moulded plug which is nice quality. The brackets are plastic and although they could be stronger they are perfectly adequate for holding the lightweight heater. They would probably not stand up to much impact, but the heater should not be placed in a vulnerable position anyway! All in all very happy, it is more than adequate for my requirements!

good
Good quality, plenty of heat, to hot to touch.

Good product
A good product. We use them underneath the desk. Box the desk off and it just provides a little bit of extra heat while working. Obviously, make sure you don’t burn your knees! But it’s unlikely. I’d recommend.

Great for what I needed it for
Bought to put in my tiny campervan to help while out camping over winter. Really impressed by it. It runs off my Jackery 500 power station with not much draw tbh. I ran it in the house just to test its power draw. It ran for 1.5hrs & consumed only 8% battery & gave off more heat than i was expecting it to, which I'm happy with. I love relaxing under fluffy blankets so won't be using it continuously, so just for short bursts really. I'll install this one to test it out this weekend while away camping for the wkend & see how it gets on. Once the temps get a bit more like real winter (as it's only early Oct) & if needed I'll buy another one. This was recommended to me by a fellow tiny campervan owner who has installed 2 of these but doesn't use blankets. I'll update my review later in the year if I do install another one 👍Build quality seems good, extremely easy install process taking only minutes & definitely value for money too 💰

No stars!
Pathetic product! Absolutely useless heating tube. I chose the 1ft heating tube because I needed it to fit in a very small gap behind our cupboard to stop the re-occurrence of damp. The tube heats up to around 80 degrees and then almost instantly cut out and cools down to 40 degrees and then a few minutes later it heat up again. It is very, very slow at heating up and even though it reaches 80 degrees for a few seconds you can barely feel any heat off it, no way would this stop damp. I have another heating tube that stays at a constant 80 degrees which has stopped damp in another part of our home. “Why didn’t you order the same heating tube as the good one you own?” I hear you ask. Well, I went onto my order history and order the same tube but instead I got this piece or rubbish. On top of everything, I had to pay to return the useless pile of junk even though I ordered it on Prime. Find another heating tube and save yourself a lot of time, money and hassle.Edit: I have now purchased the Elixer Garden 30cm low energy heating tube from another website, it is however sold here on Amazon. It is perfect for the job of combating rising damp. The tube is a little wider in diameter but that make no difference to me. I chose the one with the digital thermostat because the heat is most consistent.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GFNP8MY/ref=twister_dp_update?ie=UTF8&th=1

Not bad for the money.
The brackets are very flimsy and has no thermostat but it keeps cutting out. You have to switch it off leave it and then switch it back on to get it to work.

Ideal for keeping the damp at bay
Bought this heater for a cold wall in our bedroom, easy to set your ideal heat. Energy efficient. Havn’t noticed our bills going up but keeps the damp at bay. Is behind our bed on a timer. Fits nicely behind bed.
