I took a shot with this as my first birdbath fountain.I have a “homemade” birdbath and wanted a fountain to attract more birds and reduce the risk of mosquitos.This little fountain is great. I’ve run it for more than 48hrs straight a few times, and it has impressed me. It was relatively inexpensive and seems to be a great quality little fountain. The various fountain settings are significant, although I’ve set mine to a basic favorite(see picture).I hope it lasts me through the fall.If it does, and if I need another, I’d likely buy another like this.

I love this fountain! I bought it because it was 3.5 amps (the more power, the louder it is as I want to hear the nice sound of water). Most importantly the solar panel can be placed in the sun 16 feet away so I can enjoy the fountain in the shade of my umbrella and put the panel where it can be in the sun all day. The nozzle is small so I don’t have to look at a big solar disk in my beautiful glass bowl. And it works on overcast days and into the evening! My neighbor was so impressed that she bought 2 for her yard. I will keep telling everyone what a good purchase this is!

I thought the pump worked great for the first few days. It doesn’t continuously run. It only runs when there is sunlight and that was fine with me. It’s a cute little pump, with one major flaw. Well, major depending on what you are using it in.I used it in my small pond with guppies. It has a small filter pad in there, but the pad somehow floated out of the pump. There’s no cover or way to latch it to make sure it’s snuggly fit so that doesn’t happen. Anyways, since the filter was no longer blocking the intake area where the impeller is, it sucked in a fish.When I came home yesterday, I noticed that the pump wasn’t working. Upon checking, I saw the filter was gone and there was a poor fish still alive in the hole. I tried to save it, but the impeller sucked it further in and shredded its head.If you have smaller fish like tetra or guppies, don’t get this pump unless you can figure out how to make sure the filter pad doesn’t dislodge. To say I’m disappointed and very sad is an understatement. I didn’t bother trying to do a return.It went in the trash and I ordered a different submersible pump and filter that I’ve used before. The only thing is, it’s not solar, but it’s okay because reviews for the affordable solar pumps out there are not great at all. I don’t want to waste more money on them.

I've had the product for about a week. For the first few days, before assembling and installing the unit, I left just the solar panel out in the sun to fully charge the conjoined battery pack. Then, when I first put it together, it worked immediately and beautifully -- and setup was a breeze. I installed the unit where the panel gets many hours of sun exposure each day. But now, a couple days in, the unit doesn't run once the sun starts to set. It's as if the battery won't charge, and the fountain works only when in direct sunlight. This defeats the whole purpose of getting this type of unit vs. those that don't have a battery pack. (So much for cloudy day functionality and night-time ambience.) Aside from that, it seems to work well overall. The box comes with several nozzle attachments that provide different options for the preferred shape and intensity of fountain output. I didn't want a tall / upright fountain spray, just wanted more of a gurgle since I'm using this for a bird bath, and the nozzle I'm using works great for that. I'd give this 5 stars if the unit worked in non-sunny conditions after charging up.

have had for a few months, still working good. it comes with several attachments to change the fountain style but the one in my photos is the only one that doesn't make all the water go out of my bird bath. the low/high water height setting doesn't seem to make a difference. wish it came with a mushroom style water nozzle!

Very happy with my purchase! Perfect for my small bubbling fountain. I did have a problem with it not working after about a week, but I contacted the company and they responded within a day. This is what they recommended and it worked. It's been working perfectly since:Our solar fountain is provided 1 year warranty. If the solar fountain stop working in direct sunlight, please follow the image to clean the rotor and filter sponge. After you do that, it still stops working, please send us your address and a photo of the solar fountain in direct sunlight with water. After we check the problem its product itself. Worked really great and was absolutely lovely for 10 weeks. Easy to install, easy to clean and different nozzle configurations were nice. Abruptly stopped working in less than 90 days. It’s absolute junk now.

The media could not be loaded. I love this fountain! I got it for my birdbath and it works just great. I have tried a few others, solar powered, but of course they go off at night which is when the mosquitoes are laying their eggs. Wanted some agitation going all the time. This works great. I put a plastic bowl over the plug because it isn't under cover and I wanted to protect it from rain. It has nice lights at night and several spray nozzle options. I just run it like a bubbler and the birds love it. I find this keeps most of the water in the bowl- the nozzles with higher spray patterns tend to blow water out when the wind blows, but I use them sometimes just for a change.
