Don't have to constantly change settings
This is my go to when watching movies! Ticks all the boxes! One important feature I've found out, is that once find a good setting for color, contrast, brightness, you don't have to change it when watching different content. Something that I have found out you have to do with other projectors. It is plenty bright with just one laser. I had purchased a Casiris A6, but ha dto return it because I just couldn't get rid of a blue haze the projector had. Once I got the settings perfect for what I was watching, whenever changing to something else, I had to readjust the settings all over again, found that very frustrating and annoying. I've set all the settings for this VAVA on initial setup, and haven't touched them since! I love that! The pictures are on a non ALR/CLR screen. So I took pics with no lights, some with the kitchen lights (bright enough to cast light in the living room), full overhead lights, and lights dimmed, so not at all dark. And it still looks great! Except in full lighting. I bought an XGIMI AURA, which is also a single laser projector, and the brightness is great, but that thing is massive compared to the VAVA. I might give the XGIMI away, or return it and get another VAVA! I'll try it for a couple of more days. For the price, you can't beat it!! I'm more than pleased with the VAVA, and super happy with it!!I'm just not sold on ALR/CLR screens. Especially if they're permanent, it's just not an option for me. $1k or more, and you can't retract into the ceiling?! So any UST projector that can look this good on a regular motorized screen, is a win! Like I said, it's not even a special light rejecting screen!I have the sound routed through my ONKYO receiver, because i like to feel like I'm at the movies when I'm watching a movie at home. But the Harmon Kardon speakers are plenty loud and actually sound like a sound bar. So that is a plus as well.If you can set it up in a light controlled environment, then you won't be disappointed. I can only imagine how much better this projector's picture would look like if it was a ALR/CLR screen. I'm also happy that it has 8 point keystone correction. Now when you set it up, the best thing is not to use keystone correction, as I've read and found out. But I'm glad that it does have it because it makes it less frustrating dialing it in just right. My screen is 125" but I have no doubt that it can do 150" without any problems! It's amazing how those 25" can make a HUGE difference. L i t t e r a l l y! The screen I have in my bedroom is 100" and this one in my living room looks huge compared to the one in the bedroom. Thank you VAVA! I think I'm gonna pick another one up.This is one of 4 brand projectors, and along with the JMGO PRO, it has been one of the easiest to deal with straight outta the box! Not a lot of tweaking needed!

Great Projector.
To be honest I was skeptical about this purchase. I had never heard of this brand and after researching and looking at different options and types of projectors and brands, I kept coming back to the VAVA. The value that this projector offers is unbeatable. 3D was very important for me and this projector also supports that content. Brightness and picture quality is amazing, if you’re on the fence like I was don’t be this is an excellent product. The only downside is the App Store and remote, other than that you will be happy with your purchase.

Worst laser proyector
VAVA is the worst laser protector in the market, yes image is good as long as it last , I own two of them and no more!! They didn’t help my the first time and my second unit also failed , no help from VAVA, I emailed few times before I got an answer , they want me to send a video of what was going on , the issue is that there is no video jaja, it last about 8 months my second a year and a month , sound no video, buyer be aware, product will fail and your money down the drain.

Great projector
I don’t know how long this thing is going to last, but it works good. It is great having a projector right in front of the screen instead of feet behind it. Good quality only thing negative I can say is the interface could be a little bit better, but it’s not that bad.

Glad I didn't get an 85" TV
I was very close to purchasing an 85" TV, but then I started checking out projectors. The UST format was perfect as I didn't want to have to mount a projector to my ceiling or wall. It's in my basement so the room doesn't get direct sunlight and this is probably the best viewing environment. If you put it in a room that gets a lot of sun you may want to get blackout curtains or make sure your blinds block a lot of the light. The picture is tremendous! I have another 4K TV (55") in our den, so I knew what to expect in picture quality. I paired this with a 120" screen and now it's the only way I want to watch sports or movies. The sound is great, too as I have a home theater receiver, but rarely use it with the projector. Finally, the value is excellent. I got this unit and a screen for roughly the same price the 85" I considered would have cost. It's also a great value in UST projectors as the other comparable devices were $1,000-$1,500 more.

Yes this is VAVA yes it rocks!
Like many of you I was a little concerned about the VAV vs VAVA on the title and the price point being so much lower than elsewhere. All I can say is mine showed up perfect, registered my warranty on VAVA website (yes it went through fine!), plugged it in and WOW.. I use mine outdoor and it works ok in full light. Enough to see what's going on but not vivid detail. As soon as the sun starts to fade this thing really lights up!.Lastly - the sound! I am a snob for good sound and this thing blew me out of the water. Its like having a high end sound bar with your TV.Extremely pleased with this purchase!

Picture display isn’t a box. It’s wavy on the sides.
The projector is also kind of bulky. The sound is sufficient and it’s projector noise isn’t noticeable once a TV show or movie is playing.

Incredible deal, fast delivery and the best viewing ever!!!! Thank you and yes, no issues!
Incredible projector with the best picture quality and a price no one could possibly beat! Thank you...my only beef is the Vava remote, terrible and frustrating! Maybe someday I can get a better one to work with this dazzling machine! This is the future of home TV. It comes close to seeing films the way they were meant to be seen....ON A BIG SCREEN! (I was hoping for a BLACK one)
