Best Scissors ever
I have literally emptied my draws of all old scissors and replaced them with these. I love the feel of these and how well they cut paper, cardboard, even light sheet metal.

The sharpest scissors I've ever used
I've been through a bunch of scissors in my day - household and garage type, and I'm always looking for a great (not good) pair of scissors that are more heavy duty than your run-of-the-mill house scissors. These scissors arn't too heavy, nor are they too light. They do have a bit of heft to them, and are solid as a rock. I probably wouldn't use these for cutting any sort of metal, but I'm sure it could handle some light to medium metal cutting. But for general (non-metal) garage use - look no further. These scissors are the real deal. That said, if you're not used to really sharp scissors, be careful when using them initially - as I said, they are sharp and if it aint metal - its going to cut it!

I've fallen in love with my, scissors???
Seriously these are the absolute best scissors I have ever owned, used (in industry and household) that I actually ended up buying a second pair i have no need for just because I loved them this much. I can honestly say I never thought I could love a utility item as insignificant as a pair of scissors but I can confidently state it is among my top 5 best purchases ever on Amazon and that includes a decade or more and hundreds if not more of purchases. I give my regards to the manufacturer of this item for it's quality and performance relative to cost. If I was forced into the hell of doing sales for a living (my personal concept of job hell as an engineer) I would happily sell this one product without a shroud of guilt, the highest praise I can give anything.

Solid, sharp, ergonomically perfect
I use these around the kitchen (not on bones) and for cutting open packaging, paper, cloth,, cardboard and general plain cutting things around the house, as well as trimming my houseplants. I have been using them multiple times a day for 9 months, and they are still like new: shiny, solid and sharp. Sturdy, they cut through anything I use scissors for, with the caveat that I don't use scissors for metal except aluminum foil. They ergonomically fit my hand perfectly. My guess, after 9 months, is that these will last a decade or more.

Good, sturdy shears that work well...full-tang handles...blade steel all the way thru both handles.
Bought this shear to replace a pair of $22 "lifetime" shears, on which the plastic handle snapped off when trying to cut a cardboard tube that wasn't that heavy or thick. It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the information for this item, but the handles are full-tang, meaning that the same pieces of steel that the blades are made from continue all the way through the entire handle to the very end. This makes for a much stronger handle and much stronger shears. If my old one was made this way I probably wouldn't have had to replace it.The only downfall I can see so far is, as another reviewer mentioned, the red thumb handle isn't as comfortable to use as it could or should be. For occasional use it will be just fine, but if you're going to use these frequently to cut heavy fabric, carpet, leather, cardboard, or the like, you may want something more comfortable. This may depend on your hand size and how you like to hold them, too. For my purposes of occasional, general-purpose use they're plenty comfortable and will serve just fine.Very well-constructed, can be taken apart for cleaning, and/or are adjustable by changing the tightness of the lock nut located on the back of the shears at the blade pivot point. This nut is not visible in the picture, but it's there.I used them to cut a few things as a test, such as notebook paper and the plastic bubble envelope they were shipped inside, and they cut both of those like butter. Nice, sharp blades. I also cut some heavy cardboard, and while this took more effort (of course), the shears still cut a perfect, clean edge. The blades themselves seem heavy-duty and should last me a very long time.I'm very satisfied with the purchase and looking at having these for probably decades to come. (I would have had my other pair that long if the handles weren't cheaply made...these handles are full-tang. Ask anyone who knows knives...full-tang is the only way to go for strength and durability.)

Sturdy and Tough Scissors
This is my second pair. Lost the first and had to buy another. The blades are sturdy, sharp and with the titanium rust resistant. I have used them to cut flowers, bone, cardboard and they have done a fine job. They are sharp enough to cut delicate fabric and single sheets of paper cleanly without chewing through it. Lots of force can be applied to the blades without fear of them bending. Biggest for me is that the handles fit a man as normal scissors often hurt as the holes are too small for my hand.
