I don’t usually leave reviews, but this journal exceeded every expectation. The delivery was impressively fast, and while the photos looked great online, they truly don’t do it justice. The look, feel, and quality are absolutely incredible—far beyond what I imagined.This is not a flimsy or cheap journal. The leather is rich and sturdy, the lock closure adds a beautiful touch, and the antique deckle-edged pages give it a timeless, magical feel. I use these as therapy journals for my clients, and every one of them is blown away by the craftsmanship. For the price, you won’t find anything that comes close. This is hands down the best journal I’ve purchased.Highly recommend—worth every penny.

This journal is just as advertised. I kind of wish there was room to add photos, but I don't believe it would close with added thickness. Even if i never write in It, it just looks awesome to have around.Beautiful if you like this sort of vintage thing. Leather is soft and pages are thick.Hmmm...I bet if I took some pages out, I good add photos, entry tickets, plane tickets, etc. I bought the 180 pages book to chronicle my travels...adventures.I really like it.

Absolutely perfectly captured the vintage, rustic, adventurous journal that you may be looking for. The pages are perfectly "aged", the latch is nice and simple, yet secure. And the smell, dear Jesus. Heavenly.HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE!! these pages are not good for pencils! They write fine, maybe a little hard to see because of the background of the paper, but that's not the issue. If you try to erase pencil marks, the finish on the pages will come right up with it. So, stick to pens! Other than that, this is a fantastic journal!

We’re putting together a treasure hunt for my son. Inside the treasure chest, we wanted to have a ships log filled out by the captain, and this journal is perfect. The pages are rough on the edges, so it looks very old. And they are discolored (intentionally) so again, aged and weathered. It took me a few days, but I got a pen and came up with some stories that this captain may have encountered on his voyages. My husband is going to do some scrimshaw style sketches on some of the pages as well.

Will buy again since this journal was so nice that someone asked if they could have it lol.It is exactly as pictured, sturdy leather, lovely weathered pages, amazing product!

Please forgive some of the incorrectly rotated pictures in this review. Amazon randomly rotates some of them even though I create and upload them in the correct orientation.This journal is absolutely beautiful and to hold it is to have your thoughts conveyed away to another time and place. I bought this one for a Dungeons & Dragons journal for my elf character immersion and it fits the part perfectly. My only complaint is that the product page does not accurately represent the color of the journal's cover. The journal I received had a color that is closer to a mint green than the forest green they show in the product picture. You can see the comparison in my pictures. However, this color deviation doesn't even come close to ruining the look and feel of the journal for my purposes. I'm very happy with it!*** PLEASE NOTE ***Turns out it's extremely difficult to get a picture of the journal that shows the same color on the screen that you actually see with your eyes. This is largely due to individual display settings on your monitor that are going to be a little bit different for everyone. I adjusted my camera settings for the first picture to produce an image that displays, as closely as possible, what my eyes physically see. As long as your monitor is set to its default "Standard" display mode, you should see a pretty close comparison.
