Update your first aid kit or ifak
I'm a big fan of steri strips. These ad a better option to attach the adhesive on each side of a wound, and then pull it together similar to how you would operate a zip tie. If you have a long cut or gash, these are easier to close the wound especially if you're trying to apply it yourself. It's still leaves room for drainage.

Super sticky, ratchets some nasty stuff right up.
Do NOT let your boss find out about these. I'm never going to the doctor again unless I see white or grey.

The adhesive is poor quality
Not much to say, the idea is great. However I wished that this brand used a different adhesive that was stronger. When I applied it on to my cut. It only stayed on for about 35 mins. The site was clean and my arm isn't hairy like a sasquatch :/

Great for preppers, hiking, etc. Much easier to use than suture/staple
- Made in China- Sterile EO- Incls rather good info on how to useI have some of these in a different size from this brand so I was quite happy to see these pop up in Vine. They are fantastic.I don't know how new this is but it's really clever. It's little zip ties so you can place and size it to your needs. While it works wonderful on my booboo, I've already put these on my prep list as well. I can suture and I also have staples, but this kind of thing will be much easier to use and easier to store and carry, as well. Less delicate than suture equipment, less bulky than staplers, and much more simple to use so no training needed. It's very simple. You can cut them any size needed. Place, zip, and trim the excess tie. The adhesive is very good. The adhesive part itself is waterproof but there is no membrane of any kind between the two adhesive patches. If you need to wound to stay dry, any simple cover will work fine.Very good stuff for preppers, camping, hiking, farm life, just very useful.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Excellent addition to the home medicine chest or first aid kits; EZ to use...
These are a great addition to first aid kits for the home & car. I received this set of 3 small wound closure devices for the purposes of review. Each of the devices is about the size of a standard bandaid. Larger devices are also available but these smaller versions seem to be the ones that would be needed most often. They are quite easy to use, which is exactly what is needed in an emergency situation. The hasp portion is positioned to span the cleaned injury after bleeding has been stopped, and the adhesive portion pressed into place on each side. The tension can be adjusted with tiny zip-ties to hold the edges of the wound closed. For longer lacerations, several of these devices can be used side by side. There is a pamphlet with some basic instructions included in the box, but of course it would be better to become familiar with the bandage before it might be needed. Each bandage is individually wrapped and has an expiration date (the box I received is viable until April, 2025) and each is marked as sterile until opened (unless package has been damaged). The sterilization method is ethylene oxide. The current price of $25.99 does seem quite high for only three devices ($8.67 each) but definitely worth having on hand, just in case of an emergency and access to medical care is not available.
