This is a Grown Man's Saw, handle with care. 10 1/2 inches of pure power.

I bought this for my husband. Here is his statement below.I am a Home Remodeling contractor and do a lot of beautiful decks. Only my decks all have 4x6 and 6x6 in them and these are not posts but custom hand rails. These have to be cut with a chain saw and then planed and sanded until they take a smooth shape. With this saw I am now able to slice right trough the 4x6 timber and able to do 22.5 degree miter cuts.The saw is heavy but you have to remember, it is a table saw in your hand, not a typical just enough circular saw. It has a heavy plate with a good support while ripping. Amazingly, it weighs about the same as the cheap 7 1/4 saws that do not have aluminum and magnesium on them. The miter angle lock in at 45 degrees but with a push of a button, can go to 60 degrees.The people that have come to watch me work my magic refer to the saw as Hercules. It is strong, powerful and does not like being connected to a 16 gauge 100 foot cord. A 14 gauge is better as it allows the saw to run and full potential with no harm to the brushes in the motor.Can you imagine making your own miter box and slicing through crown molding for the perfect angles? A 7 1/4 saw could never do that. Yes I have a 12" sliding dual miter saw but do I carry it every where I go? Would I carry it for one small job? No. This saw and a Miter box does it all.All I can say is COOL SAW!

This saw has no issues in my opinion. The case is perfect and durable. The saw and blade are in good shape. The power of the saw is adequate to run that size blade. The weight of the saw is to be expected based on it's power. This Is a 2 handed saw or one might twist their wrist! I will be using this to trim out 6x6 posts to set beams on them for decks. I am all around satisfied with this saw, blade and case and would recommend it.

I use this saw primarily for scarfing plywood used in boat builds, and for cutting four-by material in a single pass. It works great for both these purposes. Awesome saw!

built tough for heavy-duty jobs!

The only negative I have is that it’s heavy. But I knew it before buying. Managing over shoulder level not possible for a senior like me. But this saw cut through 3 “ laminated maple (old shuffleboard table) with no effort. 4x4s also can be cut in one pass. This saw serves a purpose for me in heavy thick lumber that is too wide for miter saw. With a saw guide this saw works great too.

Cuts through 4x4 in one pass like butter. Definitely a two hand saw, I should have bought this a long time ago.
