Good adapter and it works
I have a battery operated leaf blower which uses its own brand of 21V 2AH Li-Ion battery, which is not enough capacity (lasts only 10-15 minutes per battery) to finish the job. Of course, there is extra battery, but I would rather use a higher capacity battery that lasts longer time. One of the reviewers mentioned the Makita battery works in the same leaf blower even though the Makita battery is 18V. Since most of my power tools are DeWalt, I have several high capacity 20V DeWalt MAX batteries. This ZLWAWAOL battery converter is exactly what I needed for converting 20V DeWalt battery to 18V Makita battery. The DeWalt battery fits reasonably well (it’s not smooth, but manageable) into the adapter and the adapter fits (again, not smooth but manageable as well) my leaf blower. Most importantly, the leaf blower worked with this adapter. The quality seems fine and it look durable. Only problem is the insertion direction of both the DeWalt battery and the adapter are the same, which causes tight clearance (I mean really tight) between the leaf blower and the DeWalt battery. I wished the insertion direction of the DeWalt battery is the opposite.I am still happy with this purchase for my application. Now, I can use 6 -9AH DeWalt batteries to finish the job maybe with only one battery. I am not sure about the extra USB charging ports since I have no reason to use the ports for charging purpose, but I am sure it can be a useful feature.

Fits and works great
This fit and adapts my dewalt batteries to other brand tools I have, saving me bucks on new batteries. As others have stated, do not leave your batteries plugged into the tool with this or it will drain them. Not sure why this happens and it is a little concerning that there’s something causing this, but I don’t leave them in and therefore I’m with the batteries and tools at all times when they’re together, so it’s a none issue for me.

Tried with my makita string trimmer - No Go
Used a brand new 6ah dewalt battery on my makita trimmer and it would start to rotate for a split second then cut off. Started to smell like burnt wires so I pulled the battery before I damaged it and sent this junk back. I'd heard OK things about the adapters but I just decided it wasn't worth risking my batteries.
