Decent sub for the price
If plugged into Fluance speakers, the cross over is 80 hz. Sub hits nice between 80 and 45 hz. Starts to trail off under that, 40 Hz is okay, but by 35 and 30, it can't punch that low. It advertises 38Hz, so I think spot on and delivers as promised. Fits that punchy bass as most people call it. Need to break in more for better results, as probably only at that 15 hour mark, with this review. For $200, have to recommend. The walnut and black looks great and great budget amp and driver. Packaging and delivery to the Midwest for me was outstanding. Great for an office or smaller room, where you probably wont have the room acoustics for anything nicer anyways and you'll just be wasting money on something nicer. For theater rooms, it could work I suppose if your really on budget.

WORKS GREAT WITH OLDER RECEIVERS THAT DON'T HAVE A DEDICATED LFE SUB OUTPUT JACK.
VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY AND BUILD OF THE PRODUCT! SOUNDS AMAZING ALSO. THE PACKAGING WAS STELLAR! DOUBLE BOXED AND LOTS OF INTERIOR PROTECTION, SHIPPERS ALWAYS HAVE A WAY TO PUNCH HOLES IN BOXES, NO DAMAGE TO SUB.

Another Winner From Fluance
We replaced our thumping, rumbling disaster of a subwoofer with this and just love it. I had to go fairly high with the volume, and standard 80hz crossover works great in my setup. It's a clean, unobtrusive bass that's great for music and excellent for movies as well. I highly recommend it!

Another very pleased Fluance product.
A perfect compliment for my Fluance signature series bookshelf speakers. Good controlled bass without being boomy. Front port (as it should be) allows sub to be pushed back closer to the wall. No chuffing from port. Excellent for both music and movies. If I had to pick on one thing. When the power switch is selected to auto, the sub will shut off when the volume is very low.

You’ll need a step down transformer if purchasing for a 240V country.
Excellent sub woofer paired with Fluance powered speakers. One vital thing to remember however, is that unlike the powered speakers and turntables Fluance has not built the DB10 with dual voltage rating ( 120V to 240V range). It’s just 120V. Therefore in 240V countries a step down transformer is required. My mistake was assuming all Fluance products were dual rated - so I rate the DB10 sub woofer based on my second purchase. I cooked the first one. At US$199 it is value for money. It get’s expensive when you add in the shipping cost when not in the ‘free delivery’ zone of USA and Canada which to Australia was more than the purchase price.

A great product overall
Amazing bass, no rattles, good crossover. The forward ported design makes it much better for placing near a wall. Is crazy loud even on lower volumes. No complaints.

Very nice for the price and beats a lot of expensive ...
Sub is very well made the wood and finish is very clean. The sound is very clean and powerful. You have to do some adjusting with the settings on your AV tuner and try to match it with the volume control and frequency selector you want. I'm using a Yamaha RX-V381 5.1 Receiver and had a lot of tweaking to be made with the DB's and speaker levels. My other speakers are the Infinity Reference R1 old school Center, R Tower, L Tower and 2 Fluance Bi-Polar Rear Surrounds. My room is about 20' x 35', I got this this on Reverse Polarity and my room is filled with bass all over. Very nice for the price and beats a lot of expensive Woofers out there!
