Simple to fit if you know the interior dimension of pipe in your wall.Drill two holes - fit rawl plugs - ready to screw in suppled s/s screws after fitting rubber sealing ring around outlet.Perfect for insect and any rodent protection and protects from direct wind or any rain. Looks good and seal doesn’t allow leaks into house/wall and If your wall is not totally flat (within sensible limits) ensures a snug fit.

I replaced our bathroom extractor external vent for a shutter type and it was genuinely the most frustrating/annoying bit of DIY i have ever completed, It was all installed perfectly and looked the part. Roll on the next day and a bit of wind and oh my god! a constant loud tapping/thudding noise from the louvered shutters! i wanted to rip it off the wall in the middle of the night.So i did some research and found this beauty, it is not cheap however it is very very well built, simply slipping inside the pipe i had installed and screwing up using the fixing holes. I also fitted an internal backdraft shutter to stop howling wind noise as this does not have one built in. But now no tapping noise and a perfectly functioning extractor fan.I would definitely recommend it as it looks nicer than the cheap plastic ones and it was a doddle to fit.I hope this review was helpfulCheersShaun
