Great product works great

I bought this with something else in mind:To use an Intec Gaming wireless N64 mod kit.I love the pink color, but no third party manufacturer is offering a pink wireless N64 controller (i.e. Saffun).So, with some tight fitting and some needed soldering to make parts work, I was able to make this pad wireless!I chose Intec because it comes with a 4pin joystick and that's perfect for this pink one! I just needed to match the stick's pins AND also needed to swap the Mod Kit's Z PCB with THIS controller's Z PCB.Needless to say. It's a success! I'll include photos that show the pins and layout of THIS stick and how to work it with the INTEC board for anyone curious to do similar!Very happy! Also, I did briefly test this as a wired controller and It's fine. I saw or felt nothing intrinsically wrong.

I saw the other reviews, but there seemed to be mixed feedback and it was cheap enough I figured it could be an experiment for a casual player like myself. Short answer, folks are right. While it worked great for a while and I was thrilled with the find, after a couple of weeks the joystick became haunted and the player character would shift to the right uncontrollably (several times running straight off a cliff). After some more time and some fiddling around, the x-axis controls completely devolved making the whole thing more or less unusable for any game that uses the joystick (most n64 games). The controller did come with a "replacement" joystick; however, it's only for the swapable plastic bit on the outside, not the electrical/mechanical internals, which is what actually seems to break.

These feel a bit plasticky and flimsy, but only where it doesn't count. Although the chassis is lighter than the OG controller, the joystick feels rather nice and I was able to enjoy my classic games without issue. My wife loved the color pink. If you're not an absolutely serious gamer, these are a fine purchase. Otherwise, look for some originals you could restore.

It doesn't work. It will move your Character for a few seconds and then nothing. Update: they sent me a new one at no charge and it works fantastic. No issues at all with new one! Great customer service I appreciate it !

Love this controller and feels like the original Nintendo 64 controller.I choose the color pink for my girlfriend since she likes the color and for her to try it.If the stick comes out, you can try to use glue on it, or order another joystick to replace it in Amazon.There are many videos for how to do so in YouTube and the internet.

Quality knockoff. The notches don't catch as well as a normal controller and the stick is a little soft. But for the price in comparison to a used N64 controller that probably has a stick more broken than cyberpunk is impressive for what you get. 100 percent recommend for anyone looking for an N64 controller. Definitely better than Madcatz quality.
