Useful source of protein.
Fairly neutral flavour, it needs plenty of plant milk. it will last a while. It comes with its own scoop.

The good and the bad
I’ve almost exhausted my second pack of this product and feel able to respond to the main criticisms: It tastes bad and clumps; raw spirulina is way worse (it stained my smoothie bottles, in addition to tasting awful), yet lots of people are happy to consume it for their health. However, I would never use this particular product on its own – I add organic juices and filtered water (with the pea protein, raw cacao powder, etc. ‘sandwiched’ between them as a middle layer). I’ve found that then (carefully) turning the smoothie bottle upside down and giving it a quick shake begins to mix the ingredients, in particular preventing any of them from aggregating at the bottom. I usually set up two lots in one go, pouring the contents alternately several times between a pair of separate smoothie bottles, and occasionally shaking. By the end, I have two smoothies with a nice consistency, each topped off with Kombucha, which I sip throughout the day. Raw cacao powder is the bare minimum I would add to this when making smoothies, since it results in a very palatable drink.Legal seals – I think the seller has answered that in the questions section, but maybe just the source.Additional – I usually throw the plastic scoop away because it’s difficult to negotiate between the sides of the pack and into the bottles without spilling any. A lip might help, but I’d still use a spoon.

Very versatile protein powder
The first thing that I liked was the quantity and price ratio. It is a huge, 1kg bag and the price is very reasonable. I liked that it has a neutral taste, so it can be used with anything. I used it in a smoothie, used it for pancakes, and it can be sprinkled on the salads. I liked it best in pancakes because it blended well in the batter. In the smoothie, it had this powdery aftertaste which I was not a very big fan of. I liked that it is gluten-free, organic and vegan. :) It was very easy to use it, and I liked that it has the scoop inside. Was very happy with this purchase.

Premium Quality Protein Powder
I have never tried a protein powder food supplement drink before, so when I came across this organic vegan pea protein powder, which is 100% natural, I wanted to give it a try. I do like peas and I very often include them with my diet. I followed the instructions which are very easy and blended the correct amount of powder with water and added some turmeric powder in my Nutri bullet. I wanted to try it with unsweetened ingredients for the first time and I really enjoyed it with turmeric, of course it is an acquired taste. The other great advantage about this protein powder is that it blends very well and does not form any lumps. I have also drunk it with just water which I also enjoyed and I have also added some banana which has sweetened the flavour. This protein powder smoothie is so versatile you can experiment with different ingredients to find the one that suits you the most. I found that I enjoyed it with all the ingredients I have used so far, with the added benefit of the natural wholesome supplements and protein which my body needed. As long as you follow the daily recommended dose, you should not experience any side effects as did I.

Tastes lovely or terrible!
I used to order this a few years ago. I had a packet a bit out of date left in the cupboard and used that, going back a few months. When it finished, I ordered another. My smoothie was so disgusting, I felt sick for the rest of the day. I thought the coconut milk I'd used must have gone off. Being in the middle of a lot of life things, I didn't get around to contacting the company, though the composition was slightly different between the packages (more recent had less sodium, which was good). So, either they have bad batches, or the new recipe is terrible, however, I'm too nervous to try again. I'm not too fussy in general about taste; I don't expect delicious, but I also don't expect nauseating, which this more recent batch really was.......

Flavour, consistency and value is reasonable, but there's much better out there if you shop around
This protein powder is just okay, which considering it's apparently won awards, was a little surprising. It's not quite as refined as some of its competitors, although it's better than many in this regard. The taste is as you'd expect, pretty bland, although of course you can add your own ingredients like fruit or cocoa to make it more appetizing. At £20.00 per kilo, the price is very fair in October 2024 but nevertheless it falls short in all of these areas compared to its competition. In particular, Farmer Pete's protein, which I have recently begun buying this week, soundly beats this item on consistency, taste and value for money. On this basis, I can't in good faith really recommend this product. It's worth pointing out that I have no affiliation with the above company, I am just a fan of their 1Kg unflavoured pea protein, which is comfortably the best vegan protein powder I've tried up to this point. To summarise, there's nothing outstanding about this powder. It serves its purpose, has a tolerable taste and blends okay but you may wish to shop around if you want the absolute best.

PEA PROTEIN FANTASTIC FOR A SMOOTH, HEALTHY SHAKE
I am currently compiling protein shake recipes to pass on to my clients in my fitness and wellbeing business. This pea protein is fantastic! I want to create low sugar, vegan shakes and this silky powder blends beautifully on its own or with some oat flour. High in protein, no sugar, plenty of fibre, relatively tasteless (this is good) so it doesn't overwhelm the other ingredients. Love the stuff. Excellent value. Half a banana, 250ml unsweetened soya, one sliced apple, 2 tablespoons of pea protein, (or half and half with oat flour) two tablespoons of blueberry juice (optional) and cinemmon to taste. Gorgeous. A great way to wean yourself off high sugar foods and better than a processed ready made shake.
