A great product
I must admit I was rather dubious about this system and how it would work with a 65 inch heavy Samsung TV. My doubts were further exacerbated when I looked at the price of the official Samsung cable hanging system which sells for about £170 - and this one costs less than £15!!However, on opening the box I was extremely impressed with the quality of the product....in most respects it is superb (I will raise one qualifier in a moment...)Installation is a doddle......four pieces to screw into the back of the TV using the fittings provided (use the spacers provided if necessary to lift the back of the TV away from the wall), and screw the two hanger disks to the wall. I am fortunate to have a stud wall with timber strengtheners behind the plasterboard which provides a really strong base for the disks. The accompanying leaflet says that this product can be used on ordinary plasterboard stud walls but I'm not certain - it depends on the weight of the TV. There are special plasterboard fittings available (not supplied) but without extra timber supports behind the plasterboard you would be relying on the strength of the plasterboard itself - and for heavy TVs I wouldn't take the risk.Once the fittings are connected to the TV all you have to do is adjust the length of the steel cable (this system hangs the TV like you would hang a picture), and this is where I think the product could be improved. The cable length is adjusted by screwing two metal saddle fasteners around the cable at the required length and these are rather fiddly to apply - you have to tighten the fastener using small nuts with the spanner provided. You have to be confident that these fasteners are rock solid around the cable because if they aren't they might slip down the cable and you will see your TV slide down the wall...!!....I purchased an extra couple of these clamps and applied them to the cable alongside the ones provided.Once you are confident the cable is the right length and the fasteners are totally tight around the cable you just hang the TV over the discs you have previously screwed to the wall.,,,,and as with hanging a picture you can adjust the TV to a horizontal position by slightly moving the TV.Once you are satisfied the TV is in the right position you can lift the bottom of the TV away from the wall by the adjustable bracket you fitted to the back of the TV so that you can easily connect your cables (HDMI etc...)If I was to suggest one improvement it would be to change the fasteners that govern the length of the cable....there are many cable clamps on the market that the manufacturer could use instead (or you could purchase additional saddle clamps and add them to the cable as I did)

Does the job perfectly
I bought this for my Samsung UE40ES6710 after reading reviews on Amazon. The item was delivered very quickly and, having read people's descriptions, I knew roughly what to expect and how it works. In case anyone's not clear, the thing works like hanging a picture. You get 2 shiny disks which you screw into the wall, then you get a steel cable threaded through 2 fasteners which you fix to the back of your telly in the top 2 VESA mount holes. In the bottom 2 mount holes you fix 2 "bumpers" which just hold the TV off the wall - one of them also has a bit you can flip up so it will hold the TV slightly away from the wall allowing you to plug or unplug cables at the back. The hanging wire has secure fixings at either end and a little clamp on one side. You move the clamp so the length of wire is about right for your TV (instructions given in fitting guide), then you tighten the clamp right up. Finally you hang the TV on the wall fixings with the wire.My TV uses M8 fixing bolts and neither of the 2 bolt lengths supplied was right - one too long, the other 2 short - so I bought some extra M8 washers and packed out the longer bolts with them and it worked perfectly. As long as the head of the bolt doesn't protrude past the back of the cable support or bumper fastenings which they are used to fix, and as long as you can get at least 3 full turns of the bolt into the TV screw threads, it doesn't really matter what length the bolt is or how many washers you use.I put the 2 wall supports in at the suggested spacing for my VESA specification and made the hanging cable the suggested length. It ended up with the tops of the supports just visible above the TV so I just shortened the cable a bit. It's very very easy, you just treat it like hanging a picture and then it all becomes really clear. Just make sure there are 2 people involved in doing the actual hanging!

Works fine
I umm'ed and awww'ed over this product for some time and read plenty of reviews (both of this, and other similar products), before deciding to 'risk' it. After all, when you're hanging an expensive LED tv on the wall, you want to be certain the product is going to do the job. This product hangs your TV in the same way as you would hang a painting on the wall, i.e. wire between two points fixed on the tv then hung over two brackets secured to the wall. The seller was fast to despatch and the product arrived in good order. As mentioned in earlier reviews, there is a vast number of fixing screws etc to cover a multitude of different TV's and sizes. My TV is a Samsung LED with mounting fixings for a VESA 200 x 200. The fixing instructions are a bit vague and you have to apply some common sense to compliment the instructions. I started by selecting the correct size screws and attached the fixings to the TV. I then fixed the 2 brackets to the wall. My wall is a solid brick construction so this made things easier.Possible problems: VESA 200 (the holes in the back of the TV are 200mm apart) means the wall fixings need to be centred at 80-100mm for the wire to go over them. As the wall fixings are about 50-60mm wide it means they are almost touching on the wall. If you have a modern wall construction with wooden batons at say 450mm spacing, I'm not sure how this would work as the wall fixings would be outside the tv hanging fixings (if you see what I mean?).The 'weak link' in the product would appear to be the wire clamps used to secure the wire at the desired length but these can be (and REALLY need to be) done up tightly using the supplied miniature spanner to stop any slipping.Good points: The TV looks great on the wall, esp. as it's held almost flush to the wall.Obviously the price. It is well made and seems strong.LED TV's are light and I have no real concerns about this product holding it's weight. I'd be a little bit more circumspect if I had a heavy LCD or plasma though.
