I recently bought a pair of Nordic Lifting elbow sleeves and also knee sleeves to help with my weight lifting. I'm following the 5 x 5 Stronglift program which requires heavy lifting 3 times a week including exercises such as dead lifts, squats, bench press and military press etc. After several weeks of this program I was starting to get soreness in my elbows and after watching a few youtube videos of professional lifters I decided to invest in some protection. I considered cheaper products but decided to pay a bit extra in the hope of getting a good quality product that would last. I was not disappointed. The Nordic sleeves are of exceptional quality, great fit as per the size guide and a very comfortable fit. They provide a good amount of support and keep your elbows and knees warm during the workout which is helpful to prevent injury. They are very easy to slip on and off which is a major advantage over wraps. I'm glad I bought these and would recommend to anyone for weight lifting or other sports requiring joint support. Nordic contacted me soon after my purchase just to check I had received them and was happy with them, seems like good customer service.

I recently got these for my training squats, I currently squat 3 times a week, so these are a great help, but unfortunately won't put anything on your squat, the construction of these are Good I can't fault them there, the only thing that I'm slightly unhappy with is they bunch up a bit but it might be the shape of my legs too as I have big quads and big calves.I did purchase one size smaller and I'm so glad I did as they feel thigh but not too tight, I can get them off with ease.I am a fan of Nordic Lifting gear, if you take care of your gear it will last ages, 6 months in my heavy wraps and they are very good very pleased.So in a nut shell:- very good construction.- get a size smaller for tight fit.- feels good when squatting, warm and fells safe.

Arrived this morning, so I took them to the gym and have just returned.These are great knee sleeves, extremely thick and give a lot of support. I bought a large with 15" around kneecap measurement, and I initially thought they were a bit big, but as soon as you start working out your legs swell and they became a perfect fit.The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the stitching on the inside back, top and bottom can dig in to your leg a little bit. I think I would have preferred the stitching to be on the outside. Wouldn't look as good, but would stop the irritation.

Didn’t have them long and they’re not tight fit at all, but have started splitting at the seams on one of them which is disappointing… They replaced it no problem which was great so can’t fault customer service. Replacement also has had the same seam issue though so must just be a product quality issue. Shame!

I measure 16" around the knee which puts me in the XL category. I read you should go a size smaller for true support so I ordered M, as I was only just in the XL category. The support was great, but I felt like they were just slightly too tight. It was too much of a struggle to get them on and off between sets. I returned them for L and although the support isn't quite as good, it's still very good and I can get them on and off between sets properly. Hopefully when my legs grow the level of support will be perfect. They are made of very strong material and are very well made.The customer service over Facebook and email was great as well. They truly care about their customers and reply very quickly to help you with any queries.

I bought these specifically for squatting/deadlifting and I wouldn't recommend them for that purpose.They do keep the knee nice and warm but there's no feeling of additional support (I realise they're not knee straps!) and the material behind the knee gathers quite uncomfortably as the joint closes.If you're doing general training/gym work, then I can certainly say that they're well made, grip the upper and lower leg reasonably well and will bring that comforting warmth and snugness to a knee which needs it. But, for heavy compression, they're more annoying than useful.

This is an early product review simply because I have been so impressed! I pondered the use of knee sleeves for months and then when I figured out I wanted to try some I pondered for a few more months reading article after article. I finally settled on these, Firstly.. The delivery was very fast and packaging for the knee sleeves was good. After using them only once I can honestly say I've wasted the best part of 6 months pondering over these things! They felt so good! I'd had knee pain 2 days prior to wearing these squatting and then first go with these and the knee pain vanished. They are (Although very early days) Very well made and a piece of kit that I don't think I would go without now!
