Ready to Rock!
This is brilliant fun and works a treat on the ps3!Great value at time of writing it has the game and the guitar controller, which is well built and nice to look at.The quality of the guitar feels good to play, you have to give it a bit of 'welly', and it comes with a shoulder strap.When you first start there is practice and things are relatively well explained, a bit better on the written sheet instructions would be good, we couldn't find the select button for a while but its the first fret.This offers so much game play and fun!- there are two ways to play, the GH live, which is like you are on stage with audience reaction!- and then there is the online channel GHTV, which has pop videos to play along to and you can be earning coins with all your playing and use them to select songs you want to play such as Blink 182, Biffy Clyro, Greenday, Ed sheeran, Calvin Harris, Nickleback, and Jack White, new songs get added, it is all a lot of fun!

A good addition to the franchis
good fun works great. if your use to the other guitar hero controllers it may take a while to get use to the new layout of buttons.only downside is not many songs included so you really do need an internet connection to make the most if it.only took me a couple of days to work through everything on the disc on first 4 difficulty levels

Not great!
As I’ve played all the other guitar hero games I was looking forward to playing this. This game is a let down in the series. The background is off putting. I wasn’t a fan of the buttons on the guitar.

Loving it!
Been a fan of the past Guitar Hero games and I really love this one. I really like the new live action first person approach in the game and it definitely feels a lot more rewarding when you finish a song and see everyone in the crowd cheering you on. I've been playing Guitar Hero Live all day today and I've just been having so much fun with it.I've seen other peoples reviews complaining about the song list. The song list is fine and I don't have any problems with it. But I guess it all depends on your music taste. But if the song list on Live mode isn't enough for you them you can always hop on GHTV and theirs LOADS of extra songs on GHTV for you to play.I highly recommend people to check this out!

POINTLESS.
IT HAS ZERO SOUND. Everything else works fine but the game is undoubtedly pointless without the ability to hear the music. Safe to say I’m P’d off. Every other game on the PlayStation works fine but this. Nada. Zero. Nothing. Apart from a very unhappy child on his birthday.

Doesn’t work
This worked really well for like 3 rocking out sessions but then the dongle stopped working. Got a new dongle and now the game seems to not be working. This is very frustrating.

Great value
Great value for money as you get the game and 1 guitar. The game is quite good with the crowd reactions being a nice feature. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the tv mode in the game where you can play along to music videos does not exist anymore as the game maker has shut that down
