Excellent Diagnostic Tool
Having read some reviews saying that the needle fluctuated wildly with vibration pumps, I was slightly nervous about buying this gauge for my Nuova Simonelli Oscar II, a vibration pump machine. However, I read the comprehensive Edesia Express instructions very carefully before I tried it, and it worked perfectly, with rock-steady readings; no fluctuation whatsoever. The gauge showed that the group head of the Oscar II was pulling an average of 13.5 Bar. This is a common problem on the Oscar II but is easily resolved by installing the inexpensive Elektro's opv modification kit.I installed the opv kit and the group head now pulls 9.5 bar consistently - and the readings from the gauge are STILL rock-steady and accurate.I would recommend this gauge without any reservations whatsoever, and I wish that I had bought it much earlier; it certainly helped me to resolve the problem with the Oscar II.

Superb Gauge.
Just follow the instructions and it will do what it says on the tin. Used it on my Gaggia Classic after it was supposedly serviced by a complete rougue. He had set it so high that the extraction was too quick, the gasket brewhead gasket leaked and the pump (classic is a pre-boiler pump machine) would fail, so making him more money. Excellent build quality. This one is designed for espresso tempratures. Please don't forget to purge any steam from the brewhead and get the machine back down to brewing temp (75 ish C) before testing.

Did the job
worked well with a bit of ptfe tape on the threads to stop leaks... it was all I was lacking to bring the pressure down from 12 bar to 9 on my Gaggia classic a handy bit of kit for a reasonable price maybe even find some applications within my brewing equipment !

Fitted easily to my rocket portafilter.
Just what I needed to check the OPV pressure adjustments I’d made on my rocket appartamento.

Wonderful quality product. Great vendor.
Just the job, no leakage, an essential for anyone needing to know their brewing pressure or wanting to do an OPV mod like myself.High quality, seals wonderfully. Tip: keep the portafilter clear of ground and pre-heat before reading. Hardest part is getting the Gaggia spout off, the rest is easy to switch between gauge and not is so easy. Worth it!
