Quality has not changed in years - still very good
I have been using these kits on windows and doors for years and the good quality of the film has not changed in all those years. It has not cheapened like so many other products. The film works well and definitely helps keep out the cold drafts. Frost King supplies plenty of tape and there is always plenty of the film to cover the advertised amount of coverage. I have never mastered the art-form of using a hair dyer to shrink the film. I have always stretched out the film over the surface similar to putting saran wrap on containers. No complaints.

keeps the cold out
the tape might come lose after a while so check corners and push plastic back to seal

Very Durable / Great Quality
This was easy to install. More easier than I was thinking. I would suggest cleaning around your windows with alcohol before installing. Some of the double Sided tape may not want to stick in certain areas. I would suggest some really good sharp scissors. When I tried to cut off the access it was not going well. It was sensitive and started to rip off in places that was not intended. Placing it on the tape around the window was easy. I'd start from the top and work your way down. You will get creases in window if not placed as the shape of your window precisely. I had to try and pull it back and place it again. Which worked but that tape will make you work for it. I used a hair dryer to seal it off. Your really just melting the plastic around the edges. It makes it good for sealing. It did not have any bad smells. So, far it has been holding up really good. Keeping most of the cold air out the other way. I can still see outside my window as if nothing is on it. Definitely worth getting if your trying to save on electric. There was enough plus more, fitting a massive window in living room. Very Pleased with purchasing. Exceeded my expectations.

Very Helpful!
Great! I have some old windows that are broken and need to be replaced but my slumlord won’t. So I got these and it makes a huge difference! My AC is no longer blowing right out the window. Perfect product. Highly recommend!

meh
Plastic is thin, and because it's so large it's a little difficult to put up alone. It's also easy to lose the actual cut Edge during hanging, because of the way it's folded. I Thought I was put up the edge, but it was actually the middle, so it took me twice as long to put up (and this was the 3rd winter in a row I used window wraps, so I know how to do it). Adhesive is not great, especially on textured walls; and definitely need to have it up before it gets Cold so it has time to really stick. Does tighten and shrink well so it looks pretty good if done correctly. Cuts Very easily, so be careful.I will Not be repurchasing, I'm going back to Duck Tape Brand, it's thicker.

Takes Patience & Planning
There's a learning curve to doing this if it's your first time like it was for me. I didn't understand that I had to open the plastic all the way --it's double folded and I didn't realize. Also when putting the tape on the window and the frame you need to press super hard or it won't stick and will peel away when you start to remove the wrapper. I found that using shorter lengths worked better. And I cut the large plastic down into shorter pieces to deal with. I used some of the tape to stick one piece to the other once the first one was finished on the window. Worked just fine and already cut the draft in my apartment.

Good to go for camping/hiking
I've been using this for a ground cloth camping. It's large enough that cut it to size without coming up short. I had doubts that it would hold up but it's apparently the right mil thickness for the task. I needed to go on a really long trip and my original tyvek sheet was taking up too much space in the pack. This is much lighter and packs down much smaller. Didnt need to hem it or anything like that. Just cut it to size and rolled it up.

Trash!
For some reason when I did a search for this in my "Orders" it wasn't showing and I'm so frustrated with this product that I went into a deep dive to find this item among my previous orders.I usually order 3M insulation and I've been happy with it but I thought I'd give this a try. Not only was it a waste of my money, but now I have unused tape around my window casing because after I applied the tape around my window casing and was pulling the plastic sheeting apart it literally tore apart in my hands. Mind you I've handled the 3M multiple times so I know to pull gently. I'm furious!!! It's not necessarily a difficult job but it is rather tedious and time consuming and I'd been putting this off until the perfect day, which was today. To have to stop at the final step of installation because the product fell apart is just ridiculous!!I thought it had torn in a spot that still left it usable so I was still hopeful. I folded it in half and applied it across the top and looked down and unfortunately saw the lower half missing so I just bunched it up and threw it in the trash and ordered another 3M kit, which I really should've done in the first place. Now I have to wait until Saturday when the 3M kit comes and hopefully it'll come early enough for me to handle this mess, otherwise it'll have to wait until next week if I can even get to it then. I'll also need to remove the fresh tape that I just applied and start from scratch with 3 M tape because now I don't even trust King Frost's tape! Not only do I have to start from scratch but I have to start by tearing out the old! What's worse is in the meantime money is literally flying out of my door everytime I run my A/C until I can get the new insulation up.Once again... I'm furious!!!Do yourself a favor and get the 3M kit!
