I found out about this product from a RC Modeler, what an idea this is great for all kinds of modeling and measuring the curves, makes life much easier, stands up on its own. Did find product in the office supply store but very expensive, got a much better deal from Amazon.

These do not bend smoothly and stay. They are difficult to keep from without causing a jag in the curved area. They are useful when measuring curved surfaces, but not as handy as my old bendable ruler- The only reason I wanted to replace mine was that it has become hard to read after years of use.

I taped both together, carefully, at the right number joins, to create a longer tape.Thus could I measure myself for pattern alteration and find out where I went so wrong the last time I went to make something close-fitting to myself, rather than carefully measure myself!Apparently, as the cup size increases, so does the bust measurement, even though band size may stay the same, or even be shorter than one’s accustomed bust measurement. What was not a problem for a teenager’s A became a real problem for a lady’s D. 😉 All for the same 34 ribcage I’ve always sized as a 36. Go figure, right?On the right path now, thanks to this affordable pair of gems!
