I bought this for my 89 year old father who’s health has recently declined sharply. He’s not able to take the short stairs to his room and we set up a bed downstairs. However he had been using the bed knob to pull himself in and out of bed and the new bed didn’t have one. I got this to help him. He’s still needing a little help swinging his legs in but it’s really helpful and he can reposition himself as well. It’s a difficult period but this has really helped. I was worried by the reviews saying it snapped off but will update the review if needed. So far so good.

Easy to use and put together, my husband is a heavy man and he has to use something to get him up out of bed , I want one now so saving for one excellent piece of bed furniture
