In wall and in ceiling speakers
I've had these speakers in for a few years now and I must admit that they are good and durable. The sound is very good and even better once the speakers are broken in. These are a jewell and an example of a great speaker with a good price. Don't sleep on these speakers

They all have a nice fit and finish
Solid center channel speaker hampered by a few design flaws.I just put in a set of 5 Monoprice Amber speakers in my Family Room. They all have a nice fit and finish. I love the magnetic grills...the drivers and crossovers seem to be of decent quality. Sound is decent for an in-wall (which is already a compromise) The problem that I had with ALL of the speakers is the mounting hardware is painfully bad. The screws will break if you look at them wrong. The rotating tabs that lock the speaker frame to your drywall will hook in their channel before rotating all the way, which will cause them to bend and not reach the wall. At this point you have to back it out (which will likely break the screw) and try again. If it is the last one you tighten it means backing them all out and starting over. The second issue with the center channel is it's width. It is designed to fit between 16" on center studs, but there is NO wiggle room if your studs aren't perfect. I had to shave down the studs a bit to get it in the wall. The tight fit also makes the mounting tabs on the left and right side of the speaker useless, as there will be no drywall overhang. As will all things you get what you pay for, and I am happy with the final result...just be aware that the installation will be a bit challenging
