Got a good one
I ordered this with some skepticism after reading reviews about inconsistency with fit. I have owned many Fujifilm lenses and several lens hoods of this type, both Fuji OEM and third party. I'll concede I may have gotten lucky but it's a perfect fit. Not too snug and not too loose.Pros:• It's solid and well made.• Perfect fit (in my case anyway)• More sensible design than shade that came with my 23mm 1.4 WR• Less intimidating for subjects than the petal hood that comes with the lens.• Looks nice• Nearly half the price of the FujifilmCons:• Overly prominent white brand label (I may just cover the label with black gaffers tape.)• Cap can be a little fiddly but once in place, it stays (unlike the Fuji OEM hood cap on my 35mm 1.4)Caveat emptor: Read other reviews as some folks have complained of hoods that are too tight. I suspect it is just a consistency issue in manufacturing. If it doesn't fit well you can always return it and try another but I think it's worth a try.

Sturdy!!
I love how sturdy this is. Adds a vintage feel to the camera too. Cover is kinda hard to take on and off

DOES NOT WORK FOR XF 33MM f/1.4
This does not work for the XF 33mm f/1.4, despite saying it does.

Cheap alternative square lens hood.
Fits on my 27mm TTArtisan lens. Wanted a square hoot for my lens

It would be great, but . . .
Two examples failed to fit on my 33 f1.4. Kudos to Amazon for being willing to take them back when the problem is not really theirs. This is one of those situations where value is pretty binary - very high value if it works for you or very poor value if, like me, you don't get a good one. It's a pity because it looks great and the quality seems top notch - the machining and finishing are all you could hope for. But as others have experienced - the ones I got were too tight to rotate fully into position. I might have been able to get it there but didn't figure it was worth kaking a $700 lens just to save $30 on a hood.BTW - filter on or off doesn't make any difference. I have a medium-profile B+W on there and the hood did not contact the filter. I wouldn't be surprised if you could even get a low-profile CP under there.

Built Like a Brick Poop House
This a really solid lens hood made from machines aluminum. I'm taking a star off because the cap that goes on the end is a bit crap. I can see this coming off in a camera bag. Take a look at the Haoge lens hood. It was a much nicer cap that's probably worth the extra cost.::: Be careful to not order this for the Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 R. This only fits the XF 23mm F1.4 R LM WR. I made this mistake and bought the correct lens hood.:::
