It does a great jo.
Best chain saw I have had. It is a great value for the money. It has no oil leakage and is easy to use. Long lasting power.

Perfect for the Job!
I needed a simple, lightweight chain saw to take with me when I mowed the grass in a wooded area. I have an 18 inch, gas-powered chain saw, but I don't want to have it on my lap while I'm driving the tractor. 8-) This saw was the best option for me because it has enough power to cut low-hanging branches easily. I can use it with one hand carefully and it doesn't weigh a lot. The motor is powerful. The blades are efficient. The cost was very reasonable for a quality product. There are cheaper saws, but I think it's worth the extra money to have a product that I can trust and depend on.

Good saw for its size
I like the light weight and the easy set up of this saw. This is my first battery saw so I have nothing to compare it to since I have only used gas saws before. It’s certainly easier and quicker, quieter than my gas saws. The saw worked just fine on the first few test cuts I made and the battery was still fully charged after I made those cuts. Because it is so light it bounces a bit during cutting so you have to hold it firmly. The real test will come when I take it camping. The only thing that could be better is that unit would have more aggressive teeth or even steel teeth on the front of the case to help the saw bite into the log you are cutting. I would give it 5 stars if that improvement were added.

Great Budget Electric Chainsaw
I've used it for probably 10 hours thus far and no issues. It's obviously significantly slow than other more mainstream electric chainsaws but it cuts just as good. I've cut and wedged trees standing and fallen at least 12 inches in diameter. Battery holds a decent charge as well and charges pretty quickly. Would recommend getting a second battery if you plan to cut for a few hours at a time.

Chainsaw doesn't cut well, the chain falls off many times!
This is a joke product. I bought this chainsaw last year during discount, didn't think much. I didn't try. A year later, today I used this one to cut a tree, the chain doesn't stay. After fixing it, it falls off again. I had to use gas chainsaw from my friend's to finish the job. I think the product should say it can only cut off anything less than 5 inches!!! But still I am not sure how reliable it is at this moment. I enjoy Greenworks mower (40 V) and leave blower very much. So I value Greenworks other products well. So far no luck. Every other products I have from Greenworks are a joke, the trimmer, the chainsaw doesn't work the way they should be, very disappointed.:(

Handy saw for small wood cutting jobs
The saw arrived as expected with no missing items. I charged the battery and proceeded to remove some limbs that were bothering my mowing and I cut up an 8" tree that had blown over into logs to remove for firewood. The saw is light but powerful and the 12" blade is just right for small jobs. The battery showed no sign of weakness and I didn't run it down.Update: So I bought the saw in Sep 2022, used it quite a bit and was quite pleased with the performance. Then i left it in my shed for a few months until I needed it again. Now, in July, 2023, I have a need but the battery is dead. No big deal, but it won't charge no matter what I do. Called their support number and gave them Amazon information from my order history (one of the best parts of Amazon, no sales slips to store or credit card info to look up, just go to Amazon and get the info, I love it). I then ran a couple of tests for the tech and he said he'd send a new one in 7-10 days. That was Aug 1. It arrived Aug 2, I charged it overnight and Aug 3 I cut an 8" tree and trimmed a few limbs in other areas. That's pretty good service in my book. I just hope the new battery lasts a long time.
