You can completely bleed a system using this kit. Its a tool any car enthuasiast should have. It actually prolonged the use of one of my cars as it had a blown head gasket and everyday before driving the car i would top up and purge the system full of air using this kit. The car drove for 3 months on its blow head gasket by using this kit until i inevitable had to get the gasket done. It loses a ark because the fit and finish could be better. The radiator adapters and funnel adapters for different makes could fit in tighter too each other. I have a few different makes cars and I noticed on certain makes the specific adapters have a bit of low tolerences and will leak some water when flushing/purging a system. But overall must have tool for any home mechanic.

This ones a bit tough to bleed as there’s a secondary pump and a load of pipes high up at the back of the engine bay. This allowed for a prolonged period of running to let all the air bubble out of the system, even after 15 mins there were a couple bloops before the system got very hot. Highly recommended makes the job much easier.

This is an excellent unit but unfortunately none of the supplied adapters fit my Citroen tanks (I have a 2016 C4 & 2014 Bellingo).I sent it back and bought the Sealy version which supplies a 35mm rubber gasket which did fit both my tanks.Thanks.

Great bit of kit, after years of struggling with bleeding up various subarus this worked first time.

Used as a header tank for burping my coolant system when I replaced my radiator and had to refill the cooling system with fresh antifreeze. A bit pricey for something that technical only serves one single purpose although it does come with a variety of adapters and is a very, very clean way of doing a top up, full coolant refill or for burping. Tight solid fit, good quality plastic and the whole lot all fits inside the large main funnel with a lid on top for storage. A handy thing to have as a home DIY mechanic, instead of using a cut-in-half bottle.
