Why did you pick this product vs others?:Yes it works. With the way the lights work you will get about 6ft of grow room without altering the way they hang. The one small fan provided is not enough get another one. Otherwise this product is great. I personally have had no zipper issues because I push the inner shield inside when I zip it up. The zippers seem robust to me. You will need a surge protector. The app is a must to do adjustments to your setup. READ THE DIRECTIONS!

I can't find my previous review but I was not able to connect to the wifi with the grow hub. I exhausted all efforts until finally this company said no worries you will have a new one at no cost!! Excellent customer service and company however, I wasn't satisfied with the connection error as everything else in my house was operating on the wifi. Turns out xfinity was at fault, I ordered a different wifi router and voila!! The hub started connecting and I was amazed at operating from my app. Great company, great product and definitely will be a loyal lifetime consumer !! Thanks

I was looking for a better way to get my hot pepper plants from seedling to their raised beds after struggling with stretching and a lot of edema under T5 fluorescent tubes in my chilly basement. This grow tent is absolutely fantastic. It perfectly fits four 10"x20" standard seedling trays. The pattern on the included light is spot on and I don't have any stretching even on the two side trays (note the difference in growth is from different start dates and not the light pattern). I actually had trouble in the beginning with the LED being too strong and scorching the little guys. I found 26" from the cup height at 50% power and 14hr to be perfect. Tons of tight compact growth with lots of node growth without topping. The large amount of air flow and good heat retention means zero edema as well. Is it overkill? You bet. Do I have a single regret investing in this? Absolutely not. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to give their hot peppers a super healthy start to the season.

Love the tent and everything about this set up except the controller. The controller stopped several times each cycle and was difficult to get to actually reset. The filter and light work well, the fan stopped oscillating after a few weeks so that's another negative but for the price it was a good set up.

I like this kit for the price compared to other kits, it has the smallest little light leaks from the seams but nothing actually visible inside or out unless your pretty close to it, hasn't effected my plants at all yet. Everything has been working good but the fan it came with came faulty, I contacted support and they refunded the full amount of the fan itself for me to buy another, quite happy with the support I got.The vents have been working great the holes for the ventilation all have doubled tenting which ensures no light leak from there, and everything is generally quiet unless it's maxing out and even then it's nothing crazy at all.I'm happy with the size I got perfectly fit the spacing I had, would get another larger one if I could only thing I might upgrade is the light down the line but definitely not necessary for beginning growing only issue I had is cord lengths but it all managed out alright in the end.The flaps that are supposed to be covering the zipper sometimes don't completely cover it due to the way it's sealed in shipping, but I've found it not too hard to just make sure that where the zippers meet is where the flaps cover completely so there's no light leaks.

Cheap for the whole set up but if I could give advice. I would go with a higher quality tent and a different brand. They put a second layer to stop light leaks but the zipper often gets caught in that as well as my circulating fan would for some reason, not circulate and stay in one position when I turned on the circulating mode which was super annoying and even worse than that, I reached out to the company five days ago and still no response.
