Makes changing the oil on my big diesel engines in my boat much easier.
I have a big fishing boat and have two large diesel engines, plus my generator engine. I have plumbed all of the engines to this pump and use it to extract the oil. There simply is no other way for me to do this effectively. I tried using a manual vacuum pump but it simply was not strong enough to pull that thick rotella oil. If you have priced the cost of labor to have someone come in and do your oil changes, then you know that the only way to do it is yourself. And the only way to do it yourself is by using a pump like this.

Handle design
The pump is okay as far as pumping goes but the handle fell apart upon the second use. Also, the plastic lock cracked. Based on prior reviews, I double-clamped and sealed (All Seal) the hoses which don't leak. Out of return window and I have not figured out yet how to keep the handle trigger from falling out.Update: Didn't get any response which I thought would not happen. It seems like the plunger for the valve pushed in by the trigger does not retract fully like it should which in turn causes the handle trigger to fall out. I used Kroil on the plunger to help it return. Will see if that works or I'll have to engineer another way to keep it from falling out! FWIW, I added a third pic of a caddie I made to mount the pump and provide for hanging the nozzle handle, discharge hose, and wire. BTW, I replaced the extra ground wire and and clamp with heavier gauge and longer to match the power wire since it was too short to reach the outlet box.

Some day
I often ask myself, can China make a product that isn’t a huge pile of crap ?..well probably , but they choose not to due to greed .. this pump is a good example of a product not made with pride or pump longevity , but in profit . Made with the lowest quality pieces and parts with zero tolerances or craftsmanship . Just another shameful poorly made product of China. My fingers are crossed that someday this will change , perhaps within the next four yearsUpdate -first and only use , I used this huge pile of low quality junk to pump some water , quickly overheated and started smoking. It’s not worth buying abything Chinese made because they design the products to fail.

Works great
Bought it to transfer waste oil. Got the suggested inlet hose with filter also. Works great. Some complain it's loud, but it's fine for what I', using it for

Easy to use
I bought this fuel pump to be able to fill the gas tank on some older cars that I own. This can be very difficult to do from a gas can and the pump made it very easy. I also use the pump to drain old gas from a car gas tank as needed and help prime the fuel line in an old car.Overall the pump easy to use and powerful with a good flow rate. The reversibility of the flow direction is a nice feature and the switch is large and easy to use and the power cord seems especially long. I chose the 120 volt power supply vs the 12 volt battery powered choice which I think was the better choice. In summary, I am glad i bought this pump and it is very nice to have if you need to move any flammable liquids around.
