Adapter may be fine - IF you need one!
This product may or may not be fine.However, it was purchased due to the misleading info in the manual of the Dragonfly Cobalt DAC/amp I purchaded from Amazon.The manual claims that if you use the DAC with an iPhone, this adapter is required. But the manual is obviously outdated - since all iPhones now use USB-C connectors, NOT lightning!The Dragonfly works fine without any adapter on my iPhone 16. This adapter is therefore useless to me and a waste of money.

Great for using old iPad to stream with.
Works well to hook up USB mics to an old iPad. My wife is a streamer and needed a better mic. I bought this so I could attach the mic directly to her old iPad and it worked perfectly t.

Xfer from Micro SD card to external HD while in the field! No computer required!
This, I use to help transfer photos/videos from micro SD cards (used in my GoPro cameras) to SSD HDs in the field. Hint: my pickup truck is equipped with 2x 110v outlets. My setup setup also includes iPhone 13P/M, 4 port 110v USB extension, and 2x 2TB portable HDs, and Apple Micro SD media adapter. Idea sourced via YouTube!

Fit my specific needs
I bought this so that I could look at some USB loaded files on my iPhone without using up space on my iPhone. It worked beautifully.Good purchase decision for my needs.

Inconsistent Compatibility
The device compatibility for this is pretty hit or miss. It worked just fine connecting a projector to a Mac Mini, and Macbook Pro, but wouldn't register the Mac Air. Tried a new Mac Air and it was totally fine. After trying several other cables and connections, it seems to be this product. It's a cheaper option than OEM dongles, and you get what you pay for.
