Works well
Installed two of these as my remodel goal of having very hot water available very fast was very successful to the point that the sink would go from 60 to 120 degrees in about 10 seconds. These temper the water nicely. Good investment to allow a lower max temp at a fixture so you can safely turn up the water heater set point.

They stay at a stable and accurate temperature, they were the perfect solution.
I am a maintenance guy at a school, I have struggled getting our water temperatures to the right and stable temperature for a while. These were the perfect solution to my problem and they stay at the right temperature consistently. Overall a great solution to a very frustrating issue.

Works great to limit hot water temp at the faucet
I have two small children in the house, but still wanted to keep my hot water temp warm enough to kill legionella, and be effective for the dishwasher / clothes washer. I found these valves, and ordered 1 for each sink in the home. Each installed fairly easily (if you can install a new faucet, you can install these, no need to be a plumber, but you need to have some "wrench" skills). After install, I can turn the faucet to full hot, and the hot water never exceeds what the valve is set to. This allowed me to crank the hot water heater up to 150 degrees, and still be sure even if a kid turns on only the hot, he isn't going to get burned. I tested each valve after install, by cutting off the flow of cold water to the valve, and confirmed that the valve would stop water flow from the hot side to a very tiny trickle, maintaining the temperature (or stopping the flow if it can't). While they are expensive, it was cheaper than one visit to to the ER because someone was scalded. My only wish was that they were a little more affordable, but hoping that "you get what you pay for" and I won't have any problems out of them.

Works great but stops adjusting
Works great to fix faucets that go from luke warm to extremely hot with a small movement of the faucet lever. Now my grandkids can't get scalded. It's much nicer for adults as well.Update:. I bought about 10 of these. One stopped being hot after 1.5 years. The adjustments no longer helped - even at max adjustment it was just lukewarm.

Solid Performer
I added this to our bathroom sink to prevent it from getting too hot.The existing pipe to the faucet was 3/8in screw thread, so I needed a short 3/8" to 3/8" to connect this to the faucet after re-using the existing pipes to connect to the Watts. My local Lowes did not carry any pipe of that style, so I ended up ordering it from Amazon.Note the Watts does not come with any mounting bracket or screws, you'll need to find a way to mount it to the wall.Performance is as desired, it definitely prevents the very hot water from coming through.
