Comparison with Seven Hills
I ordered this before reading the other reviews and so I would like to add some information.Taste - compared to Seven Hills product it tastes different, it is very slightly more bitter but that does not bother me. It is less bitter than black coffee.Consistency - raw it is a very fine powder so handle with care. No different from the seven hills product. I have a heaped teaspoon in my "bullet proof coffee" (50 to 100g butter, 1 heaped teaspoon powder and 2 heaped teaspoons coffee into the nutri-bullet - yum). It does thicken it, but nowhere near as thick as the Seven Hills product. This is not a problem for me.I have not tried it in baking but if I did I would call my purple products "artisan" and charge extra :). If I did bake then I might consider using this as it seems a little less laxative than the Seven Hills product but the Seven Hills product is much "stickier" when wet it may suit some recipes better.Outcome (poo) - I find this product is a little more forgiving than the seven hills product. I found that a heaped teaspoon of seven hills was too much and used a level/slightly rounded teaspoon. I am regular, once a day no worries :)Value for money - I think that it is on a par with the seven hills product I used slightly cheaper but you need a tiny bit more.Overall - 5* because it suits my needs. It is fine in texture, taste and function for me. If it is too bitter then I would suggest Seven Hills (but this was out of stock when I ordered).

Life changing habit
Without too much health history, I have had a colonic resection and my bowels are a little lazy and my peristalsis is not what it was..This powder ..just a teaspoon morning and night had restored my regularity and in doing so helped me lower blood pressure, loose unwanted belly fat and cleared my 'Farmer Giles'..My only small concern is the fact that you need to stir the lumps out very quickly and gulp it back otherwise it can turn to a 'wallpaper paste ' viscosity and is rather alien to gulp back..I find a little squash and a small whisk breaks down the undissolved lumps in short order and a little Orange squash give a pleasant flavour to an otherwise bland pleasure. Purity is key as the Californians have decided that some samples of Psyllium Husk contain high levels of lead and are deliterious to human health. Cheers..

Want to give it five stars!
This stuff is magic! It totally does what I purchased it for and I would have loved to give it five stars. I couldn’t because, as many people have said, it doesn’t dissolve. It all floats on the top and looks gross. I had a proper check of all the reviews and one I had missed struck a chord. A little milk frother. It’s brilliant and I truly think it should come with one. I reckon if it did everybody would give it five stars and there would be no negative reviews. Just a thought.

Great for feeling fuller helping with weight loss
I bought this psyllium husk powder to help with weight loss by making me feel fuller before meals and it’s really doing the job. I mix it with water about 30 minutes before eating and it definitely helps curb my appetite so I’m not overeating. It mixes easily with water (just stir quickly) and while the taste is a little strange on its own I add a tiny splash of squash and it’s completely manageable.Pros:• Helps reduce hunger before meals• Easy to mix• Only need a small amount• Great natural fibre boostCons:• Slightly odd taste plain but easily fixed with squash• Can thicken quickly if left sitting too longVerdict:If you’re trying to manage your appetite or add fibre to your diet this is a great product. Just mix and drink it fairly quickly and adding a bit of squash makes it totally fine taste wise. I’ll definitely keep using it as part of my routine.

Tastes revolting and doesn’t mix well at all
It seems to work (for digestion) but it tastes disgusting, like slightly bitter mouldy mushrooms. It makes me gag. I have taken the Gram Factory Sat Isagbol with no problems, tastes a lot nicer. But doesn’t mix at all with water (unless you use a Nutribullet) and just turns into sludgy brown lumps, so combined with the revolting taste, drinking it it is seriously unpleasant. Won’t put myself through this again, will be trying another brand.

Very impressed so far
Recently started taking this to aid weight loss. From day 1 I could certainly feel it working as it "passed through"!Too early to know if it will be effective as a weight loss supplement but keen and hopeful to keep going and see!I am aiming to take this in place of my midday meal and am hoping it will keep me full enough til dinner. At the moment I am mixing it with milk in a ninja bullet and adding a powdered frappe sachet (from a store that sounds like "all day") for flavour. In the mixer it blends perfectly (by hand it was messy and lumpy).Drink it immediately. One day I made my drink and talked with a friend for less than 5 mins and when I came back to it, it was set solid! I ate it with a spoon. Not pleasant but imagine what it's doing for your intestines if it solidifies like that once it hits your stomach! It can't fail to do some good as it travels through!I've bought a portable blender to take into work to make my lunchtime mixture.May try mixing it with a scoop of protein powder instead of the coffee sachet for extra satiety if I don't feel full enough on my current concoction.Really hoping I see weight loss results in the next few weeks but even without that advantage I will keep taking this for the cholesterol controlling properties and hopefully avoid medication as my cholesterol is currently borderline.Thank you for reading to the end of this - I hope it helps!

Do not buy the powder
Buyer beware. I purchased the powder by mistake as packets look identical. The powder is not good- it says dissolvable in fluid- it does not. I mixed it in with my cereal- I ended up with sludge. Bearing in mind that I only used 4g of the stuff, so had to think how on earth to use it another time during the day. In the end I asked Amazon for a refund which was given.
