Pleasant surprise . Nice innovative design
I was looking for a mouse with no strings attached :) I did quite a lot of research and settled for this one . There are lot of devices which are probably better with objective functionalities but are way costlier . For reference I have been using wired g402 for over 7 years now it has all the frills and extras but I might prefer this . Some of my reasoning .- The form factor is amazing , it weights only 60 gms without battery (with battery maybe 80 90 , don't have precision scale to measure ) . The body resembles apple's magic mouse and takes some time getting used to especially if you are coming from claw design but it is really relaxing grip . I have long fingers and can extend from base to the end without needing to curve and is a very relaxing position to hold on to . My wrist hurts due to decade plus of bad posture and bad usage . This allows me to use it with both hands and doesn't tie me to close proximity , also freedom from wire just feels amazing . My finger tendons have already gone thick from heavy usage .- The silent clicks , it's click are refreshingly silent and can only be heard if you take mouse near your ear to hear it even in middle of night . The tactile feedback on each click is very enjoyable . I am a fan of this tech and hope some day all mouses will be this silent .- The innovative design part , its top half is a plastic sheet and is attached by magnets , it is very easy to remove and place back . Also the wifi dongle can be placed in the slot provided .- Not sure about the battery performance but from quick napkin math , if one uses heavy duty AA Alkaline batteries , device might give around 50 / 60 days of performance for daily avg usage . Even avg estimates of one cell per month doesn't seem all too bad . Li on rechargeable battery option would be better and cheaper in long run .- Connects almost instantly once the pairing is done , after powering on / off . I am not sure if the device features a low power / idle mode to conserve power and there is no info so I am guess not . Also it could get a bit annoying to turn it on / off after usage when you come from wired mouse .- Most mouse are either blue tooth or wireless and lots of user complains that they were misguided when buying . Partially their mistake for not doing enough research but still it should be clear what kind of connectivity a product offers . This has both and it conveys that information properly . A very nice switch on the rear side , the middle switch which toggles wifi on top / on off in the middle and bluetooth in the rear end . Blue tooth connection button needs 3 second press down to start pairing ( a bit anxiety inducing when your new shiny mouse doesn't show up on the bluetooth menu )Some cons :- The scroll feels stiff , heavy handed .- No side buttons for quick back / front navigations .- No programmable buttons or any software support , my old mouse has enough functionalities and scripting capabilities to work as a hack for most games or other usages . This could be a plus if all you want is a simple mouse .- Limited dpi options 800 / 1200 / 1600 . Should be enough for most use case still needs a mention if you are used to higher refresh rates , I personally used 2000 + .- Wireless seems faster and appropriate for gaming over blue tooth , which obviously has a bit higher latency , if you are into gaming . Also for obvious reasons it has fixed polling rate .Still a good product for the price ( bought it for 1200 ) , it is odd how the color changes prices so much .

Best budget mouse for MacBook Pro!
I got this mouse last two of days ago, I am extremely satisfied about my purchase. It fulfills everything my need. I am not gamer, but I do lot of Design stuff with UI/UX, Coding, also sort of tools where mouse comes handy. The connectivity and synchronisation is the best. I am little bit disappointed because after waking Mac from Sleep mode, it took maximum 1 second to connect with mouse. I want 0 second delay to connect with Mac, obviously you will get it with Magic Mouse. But for Macbook Pro user, mouse is not going to be everyday things unless you want to design something, because it's trackpad is best and large with more gesture, it will reduce the usage of mouse. That's why I preferred Asus mouse instead of spending 7k on Magic Mouse.I was worried about holding strap because I don't like it and it's quite useless thing on mouse, but thankfully we can put it back in mouse, and remove it whenever we need! It also comes with Bluetooth receiver which is very useful for me for my old window laptop, not tested on it yet.Sensitivity is good. I expected more sensitivity in 1600 dpi. If you are Mac user you will have to put in 1600 dpi mode. In 800 dpi mode it's horrible. 1600 dpi is best sensitivity. You can adjust tracking speed in Mac System settings, it can go faster than that. The amazing part is, mouse's cover is swappable. We can change cover in to different one. I use Purple in day and change it green in night, or depends on. It depends feel new in hand. Weight is light, it feel slightly weights like light stone which gives us premium feeling while holding it.It's best gift for birthday for someone who likes creativity!

I have been using this Silent Mouse, and it has quickly become my go-to for both work and casual gaming.Pros:• Quiet Clicks: The silent click feature is a game-changer, allowing me to work in shared spaces without disturbing others.• Comfortable Design: The ergonomic shape fits comfortably in my hand, reducing fatigue during long sessions.• Responsive Tracking: The sensor is accurate and performs well on various surfaces, making it suitable for both everyday tasks and gaming.• Battery Life: The battery lasts a long time, and it uses a convenient USB receiver, eliminating the need for frequent recharging.Cons:• Limited Customization: While it works great out of the box, advanced users might find the lack of programmable buttons a drawback.• Size: It may be a bit small for users with larger hands, hence NOT IDEAL for SERIOUS GAMERSOverall, the Asus Silent Mouse is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a quiet, comfortable, and reliable mouse.
