Yes, it is
Jon Anderson still has that distinctive voice that fronted Yes, and everyone he's worked with on this has kept the rest alive. Great stuff, especially the opening few tracks; if you liked Big Generator, The Ladder or Magnification, this is basically more of that.

Yes!
True by Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks is more Yes than Yes are themselves these days. This is a great album. It sounds like it fits between "Going for the one" and "90125".Sometimes the guitars sound like an improved Steve Howe and sometimes a bit like Trevor Rabin - so the best of both worlds. All the tracks are strong with possibly "Counties and Countries" being my favourite. Now and then, especially in "Shine on" there is a bit too much of a "wall of sound" but then that's also true of "Gates of Delerium"Don't let the awful cover put you off, if you like ANY period of Yes you will love this.

Really strong late career album
This is actually one of his best solo albums. Nothing is ever going to challenge peak period Yes of course but when you get over that small hurdle, if you ever liked Yes you’re going to appreciate this. The band is really excellent, there is a tendency to play in a Steve Howe or Trevor Rabin style and the bass player obviously has studied Chris Squire ( not a bad thing). All of this goes to make for a very enjoyable listen and absolutely MUCH better than any recent Yes albums. Recommended.

Jon Anderson is 80!
At 80, he pretty much still has the voice he’s always had. The material is good, the Band Geeks are all excellent musicians and the whole album works well. It took a while to finally source a copy of this album but was definitely worth the money and the wait.

YES YES YES!!!
The most Yessy album for years. Forget about the Steve Howe Yes tribute band: this is the album Yes could have made if still together as a going concern. Jon Anderson still sounds amazing at 80, and the Band Geeks are great musicians.

My God, it's full of stars.
These lads know Yes, and have the technical skills to replicate perfectly, and some! To listen to Jon and this band of multi talented geeks, in 2024 is truly a blessing and a privilege. God bless you all for this marvellous gift of music.
