I like this machine. It does what it says and seems very sturdy. The bucket is heavy enameled steel (I think). Easy to clean (auto clean cycle or just rinse out the bucet in the sink). Auto weighs your load and determines the time. You don’t get actual compost (it isn’t “rotted”) but you get a lovely, fine, dried “food mulch.” It does reduce volume by 80-90%. It could then be composted in a much smaller compost bin. Or mixed right in with with potting or bedding soil.

The media could not be loaded. I have noticed that since I started using this machine, my plants have flourished.I have tried many different compost bins and this machine dries my kitchen waste and chops it into slightly larger than soil particles, perfect for mixing into the soil or using as mulch, perfect for my gardening needs. With a small enough chop, it can handle many items that other composters and dehydrators can't. I cut coffee grounds, avocado kernels, corn cobs, and corn husks into small pieces. The capacity and grinding technology of this machine is really fantastic, it also has no smell and will still smell somewhat when you put it into the coffee grounds compost, so you don't have to put it in the garage anymore, it's fine in the kitchen, unlike those traditional compost bins that are particularly nasty.

A real game changer. Composts all the food scraps into soil in just a couple of hours. It has good capacity where it can store an entire day or twos food scraps and lets you compost it. My plants health is improving a lot. Noise is decent so I put in my garage, but overall it’s pretty awesome

Great composter! Does just what I wanted.

While I am quite happy with the quality of compost that I have made (used twice), there is a slight problem with one of the hinges so it doesn’t close properly and I have to mess with it and Jerry rig it so that it works. Didn’t contact the manufacturer because I am not sure they would do anything about it. I will use it because when I get it to work, it works well. But I will probably try another brand in the future.
