I like how easy and quick this is to use. Without using the batteries and just using the USB lead, I don’t find lead too short. Works particularly well with coloured pencils such as Polychromos and prismacolour. It does work with the PITT pencils although I Think a hand crank sharpener works much better for pastel pencils. Also came with a set of replaceable sharpener blades which I think is nice to have. Definitely good value for money.

Great time saving device for classroom

Purchased this to replace the same model that failed earlier than expected. No question that the sharpener works really well and the fact that you can buy new blades is great. Handy USB lead too. I hope this one lasts longer than the first which developed a fault in that it wouldn't switch off unless you removed the batteries. It feels good quality, not flimsy but we'll see how this one lasts in action!

Slow, sluggish, didn't sharpen anything. Returned and bought swordfish one with handle. 1000 times better

I'm left-handed and constantly break the tip off my eyebrow pencil when using a manual sharpener. This little gadget sharpened it to a lovely pointy tip in just a couple of seconds! The only problem I had was the jack from the USB cable, into the back of the sharpener, which doesn't fit very securely and had to be held in. That's a small problem though, considering the perfect point on my pencil!

I brought this because I am FED UP! Of spending my free time sharpening pencils. The long process. A sweaty hand. And then the color snaps! This is quick and easy and takes less than 5 seconds. Colour snapping hasn't been prevented but... I don't take forever anymore! However if you do keep this in your classroom make sure the kids don't use it or know how to use it. Because they try... and very epicly fail. And my lot are secondary. Just keep it away and hidden from supply because apparently they don't know how to use it either!
