OtterBox Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Defender Series Case - Black

First off this is a great all around case. It comes right up to the edge of "too much bulk to carry in my pocket every day" but it's worth the protection for me. As others said the back of the case can catch on the inside of your pocket since it has a grippy surface, but it's not that bad.I go to a lot of music festivals where theft is a problem. This case is amazing for that for 2 reasons:1) The case has multiple parts that fit securely together. It takes serious time and effort to get them off if you don't have the instructions. So if your phone is tethered by the case then thieves can't just rip the case off.2) It has an attachment point for tethers and straps on the bottom corner built right into the solid plastic. I didn't see this mentioned before I bought it but it's a great bonus. If you use a phone tether of any kind at festivals (you should!) then you can attach it here at a connection point that can't be cut. If you have pliers you can also get a small key ring through this point for extra security.

Perfect fit. Strong case but not hard and has soft grip feel to it. Certainly built to help save phone on a normal drop.

This is my second OtterBox case for a Samsung phone. I've never broken a phone screen anyway but this is a nice case with some shock resistance (flexibility) so I purchased the one for my latest phone when I bought the new phone. It's just as good, obvious shock resistance from the flexible material. Two part case, a hard shell inside the rubbery outside so I assume the first thing that could break would be the inner hard case making it two layers of protection for my phone. The three buttons still function and I have access to things like the phone's pen and it doesn't obstruct the camera views. If anything negative it's that it's edge and rear cover only, no front cover but, I used a screen cover at a decent price but haven't ever cracked a phone screen anyway. Fits fine entirely in my pocket and is easy to remove the phone with a solid hold on it.

OtterBox cases have saved my phones in the past and this one is no different. Best protective cases on the market - worth the extra cost over the cheaper ones. I tried a cheaper one once, and it actually impacted the quality of how people heard me on the other end. It wasn't until I googled the problem did I try removing the cheap case only to learn it was the cheap case causing the issue all along. Then I purchased an OtterBox, no problems at all! Since buying it, I've dropped my phone a few times and so far, no issues!

Have always gotten otter cases for my Samsung phone. I recently upgraded my phone, from a Samsung Note, My note otter case lasted 6 years without needing to be replaced , One screen break and it wasn't even the front of the phone it was the back camera my fault from a rock. To put into thoughts to create a picture. Otter cases themselves last a very long time and it is not common to replace them. with that being said I have now upgraded to a Samsung s25 ultra, and once again going to the defender series otter case as I have trusted it for years. I am unable to say how well it fits with a screen protector due to not having one on my phone however, the case itself took a minute to disassemble to reassemble. It sits in a plastic chell then into a rubber shell, I wouldn't exactly say it's bulky but it's also not exactly slim either. The ultra is a large phone, I wasn't looking for something that makes my phone smaller than it is. I always get the defender cases for my life style. I drop things often. I believe $60 some is a value for money givin I probably won't need to replace this case for some years to come. With that being said I am able to access my stylus easily and my regular phone buttons work just fine.

The new design has a nice grip.The soft rubber doesn't feel quite as springy as the S23's, so will this be as effective for drops? It does feel springy enough, but it does feel a little different. Not worse. It will likely hold up to its drop protection claims.But it feels more form-fitting than the 23's as well.Corners look a little more rounded.It's assembled in China, not "made in" so the materials could be no different. The S23's was assembled in China as well.I never used the holster so I can't comment on it.

Good quality, easy to install, good price, good phone protection.

We've been loyal OB customers for over 10 years & it all began w the Defender Series Phone Cases! I cannot even tell you how many of our phones these OB Defenders have actually saved, but I'd say; Every single phone we've owned for over 10 yrs bc we put all our phones in one of these immediately! Sadly these are an absolute waste of $$$ now, due to the OB Tempured Glass Screen Protectors being defective! These Defenders are not compatible w any other screen protectors we've purchased?!
