Serious Iron
I bougth the 50lb version. Bought this for some projects I have lined up. This is a serious piece of metal. I checked the main surface with a file and it is hardened. you can get a serious priced anvil or beat the B-jesus out of this one.

A hobby anvil
This was the biggest one I could get on line and I needed it for medium to heavy work. Marked too easy for my liking. Cleaned up fine, but I only use if for light work

Total waste of money do not purchase this sorry excuse for a anvil. It will mark with every hit of a hammer to a point of parts start to fall off
