Great and affordable replacement.
The original screen for my HP ProBook 4540s broke while in my suitcase on a trip. This has worked as a great replacement screen.There is a great Youtube video that walks you through the whole process: [...] . Be patient and gentle while taking off the hinge covers; I went a bit too fast, and they don't fit quite right anymore. That was my own fault, though.

Quick and easy
I broke my laptop screen on my HP 4540s last week after it unknowingly slid under my chair. I purchased this, and after a quick 15 minute removal and replacement of the screen, my laptop screen looks better than the original! If you have any questions about replacing a laptop screen simply look up the procedure on youtube, just be sure to search for your specific model and there will most likely be instructions. This particular device required the removal of 8 screws and again took 15 minutes total. I am writing this review on my freshly fixed laptop!

Dead pixles, Glossy not Matte, Dim. Waste of Time.
* Dead pixels scattered throughout screen immediately after install.* Glossy not the matte I ordered.* Pretty dim. Not as bright as the original matte screen.Waste of time installing. Have to return, replace and repeat procedure.

Love it! Easy to follow you tube video and ...
Love it! Easy to follow you tube video and I had it in in less than an hour....interupted a few times from the kids so could have been faster. Hardest part is taking hinges off then the rest is easy! I am not a computer person at all so If I can do it odds are anyone can! I just used tiny screwdrivers and had no issues.. I didn't have the tool set from the video. I was so so releaved to not have to spend up to $200 to have fixed!!!

The screen works and everything but there is a large logo in the lower left corner which shows what resembles an upside down 21 in red dots. I'll use it since I paid for it but I doubt I buy from the company again.
