Q: Why did the formula change? there is significantly less glucosamine and msm in the new product.

Never figured out why it changed, didn't order it any more, couldn't get answers on why the size and content changed

Q: What is the size and shape of each “chew”? Can they be cut in half or are they too small for that?

These chews are rectangle in shape, pretty flat and weighs in around 1.5 grams (per chew). They are okay to break in half.

Q: Just bought chewables they were very small and stuck together in bottle. Is that how they usually come? Plus very dry.I usually buy tablets.

You might want to contact the company about this bottle. We used to buy Pet Naturals Hip + Joint for Cats in the pouches. Those were sometimes dry, or would dry out after the pouch was opened. The two bottles that we have gotten, the treats were moist. They do stick together somewhat, so we give the bottle a good shake to loosen them up. We have found that the ones in the bottle stay moist for much longer than the ones in the pouches in spite of the quantity being much larger in the bottles. That is why I suggest contacting Pet Naturals about yours.

Q: Are these soft chews?

These are 'Chews" as the description states. I was purchasing the chewable compressed powder form tablets. The chews are larger, and the dosage is different. If you're asking if they're SOFT, I would say that they are softer than the chewable tablets, but still chewy, perhaps like jerky bites. I prefer the chewable tablets over the chews because these chews clump together and have to be separated.

Amazziingg, cannot recommend more

I have a rescue westie who has been suffering from patella issues in her back leg. There have been 5-6 episodes of severe limping where she would not let anyone touch her leg, and she would not put any weight on it. A couple of times, her muscles began to atrophy and her leg was visibly skinnier. I have been to many vets about her leg and each vet has eventually said that she will need surgery to fix her knee issues. I was not keen on an invasive procedure, especially as she is a senior dog now.I came across these supplements as a last resort and started giving them to her a few years back. She is a very picky eater, but she eats these supplements like they are treats. Best of all, she is able to walk on her back leg again. Of course, if she strains her leg too much her knee can act up, but the treats do seem to be helping. Her leg looks healthier, I cannot recommend this more.
