how many projects can you do with kit 1 economy?

The ProTechTrader Make: Electronics 3rd Ed Kit 1 actually has all of the electronic components and parts to complete the first 14 experiments, (of the 30 in the full book) covering the first 3 sections of the latest edition of Make: Electronics by Charles Platt. We worked with the author directly to have the perfect components for the electronic projects to work as he designed them.

Does kit 2 have all required items for section 4 and 5? or does it assume you purchased kit 1 and have some items already.

The ProTechTrader Make: Electronics Third Edition Kits we make for Charles' Platt book does include all of the required basic components for all of the experiments in all 5 sections of the book. As you asked they are split into 2 kits for your convenience in purchasing and the Kit 2 does build upon Kit 1 meaning a few of the electronic components are reused to complete the experiments in Section 4 and Section 5. We also offer an Ultimate Kit 1 & 2 Deluxe Bundle with a Carrying Case that includes some of the common tools and upgraded components as suggested by author Charles Platt in the book.

Which of the versions contain all the necessery chips?

Kit 1 has all of the necessary components to complete sections 1-3 in the 3rd edition of the book while Kit 2 has all the components required to complete sections 4-5. So Kit 2 will have all of the integrated circuit chips as they are introduced in section 4.

Are there any kits for make: more electronics, the sequel to the 1st book, needing more ic's and others?
