Great seal on 144G aquarium, has some serious fumes though
Resealed a 144 gallon aquarium, just the inside seal without taking aquarium apart, no problems at all after about 2 years. Good stuff and worth the peace of mind even if a little pricier than some others.Fumes were pretty strong, would try and have some ventilation for the curing period.

Works well
Good quality, easy to use, and quick drying time. My only disappointment was the shiny finish. Wish it were a matte finish for my particular project. Good value for the price

Mislabeled!
I never used this product. So when I read rtv100 series I took it as black because the stick on lable read black product was mislabeled. Unfortunately I do not have time to trplace so I just paid more then I should have for a product! I also attenpted to contact RTV for recommendations on a cleaning product and never recieved an answerI'll stick with ASI from now on. This company does not care about there customers

Works
Use to reseal my 75 gal aquarium and no issues so far. I used just one tube and able to do the whole 75 gal. No leak and easy to apply.

Was shipped a very nearly expired product. Needed immediately so had to use it.
I waited about half a year to review this. When I received the tube, it was 2 days until the printed expiration date. Pretty shady. Didn't kill the deal for me as I needed it immediately for a project. Product skins VERY quickly...like 2 minutes or less and at that point its skinned enough you're not gonna get a nice finish if you're planning to smooth it over. All of that being said, it DID do what it was supposed to, and thus far, no leaks. Stop shipping out expired or almost expired product and this might have been a 4 star review.

Actual silicone is great, packaging no so much
So far I’m in for 7 tubes of this stuff and have had the same issue to varying degrees with all tubes. The plunger bypasses a ton of the silicone! Not only have I lost about 5-10$ worth of product every tube but my electric gun is a MESS. Yes I used a manual version too, and tried adding a fender washer to make sure I was supporting the entire plunger - same issue. I did cut my tips small and noticed that going slow reduced the loss but it shouldn’t be happening at all.Initially the directions fail to mention that you must puncture the inner seal after cutting tip. Not a big deal but threw me for a loop right off the bat because normally only cardboard adhesives have the seal and these tubes are plastic.Actual silicone is great quality, using it for fish tank stuff. I had success bonding acrylic to glass (over flow and sump building) and injecting it to reseal a stupid craigslist tank. One thing to note, if you’re using tape at the seam which you plan to remove while the silicone is still wet to get a clean line, you need to pull it off right after completing the seam. If you wait the typical 5 mins you’ll risk pulling the silicone OUT of the seam with the tape instead of just the excess that ran onto the tape.

Works Like A Charm!
I chose this item due to the reviews regarding fish tanks. Had to reseal used bow front tank. Used frog tape to make perfect bead lines. Go slow by steady your caulk gun to get one continuous bead. Cut the caulk top to the size of bead you want to achieve. Do one pass with wet finger. Don't use a dry finger!!! Then do not touch it! Have wet paper towels ready as it can be messy. After drying I used a scraper to get off any random caulk. Do not scrap any part of aquarium side/bottom seal.If you made it messy, leave it. You do not want to break the cured seal. I waited until the vinegar smell was gone (about 40 hours as my tank was in garage) to rinse out and set up. Awesome product!

great for building aquariums
Worked great for building my custom sump/refugium. the smell was HORRIBLE... but once it dries and cures, the smell is gone as well. Strong bond . my refugium as been running for a couple months now with no leaks.
