Robust and does the job. Most people lack understanding of what AQI is and I can't blame them! I am a research scholar working in this field for 10+ years and have tested many AQI detectors in the course of my research.This one stands out by a mile! Fantastically priced as well! Manual is decent. Battery backup is excellent. The Air Pollution Level accurately displays the ambient AQI. I had a few pre-purchase queries and as per my habit, had emailed a detailed questionnaire thinking that they will not respond. But they replied within 24 hours and addressed all my questions absolutely transparently! I use this inside my room and have also taken this to highly-polluted construction sites and some highways and the readings change almost instantaneously depending on the pollutants in the particular location.*FOR THOSE COMPARING READINGS OF THIS DEVICE WITH ONLINE READINGS* Please don't! This detects and displays the ambient and live AQI and not that of a whole locality. A side note- A lot of 'live' online AQI data is the average of the last 24 hours. I intend to do a vlog about this soon!

Easy to operate

Must have for every household. As you know, almost all Indian cities have toxic air these days. This air quality monitor is highly affordable considering that other options like kaiterra cost significantly more for more or less similar features. It’s highly accurate too. I use it for comparing the PM levels inside my room after I switch on the air purifier. Definitely helps to know whether air purifier is working or not and can know when to change the HEPA Filter (as PM starts increasing despite using purifier inside the room). Even helpful for exercise purposes. Can know whether PM levels are within recommended range , so that physical activity is safe or not during that time. The only thing which is bad is the battery life. It’s really less and also the charging port is Micro USB. A type C would have been much better.

When you turn on the device it says keep the device in fresh air for 3 minutes! Based on that it calibrates the sensors. Which means that if you are in a high TVOC area and turn the device on, it does not indicate it as high TVOC. Only if the levels increase 'after the device is turned on and calibrated' then high levels will be indicated. Pretty useless for TVOC measurement. This is a big limitation and should be mentioned somewhere in the product description.

A very good device for measuring air pollution level, backed by a technically sound team. The response time of the device is fast, suggesting use of sensitive sensors. The product is good for measuring pm2.5, formaldehyde and total volatile gas concentration in the air around apart from humidity and temperature. Battery life is better than the claim. Graph function could be more versatile. Overall a very good product for a health conscious person to be aware of surrounding air and take necessary corrective action.

Easy to use and does the job efficiently. Have tested it in high-pollution localities in Mumbai and cleaner air near beaches (I love to test things!) Left me impressed every single time! I kept it on a table on a shack in Goa and got many curious looks! (I forgot to click a photo) More than decent battery life. The product pack mentions not to use a fast charger- I wonder why!

Note that, the readings displayed on the device is not the actual AQI, just an air quality index as per the other readings.When i purchased this I thought this is showing AQI, but it is not. IT will only show the quality index roughly between 0 to 40 all the time.Although the other readings, PM2.5, HCHO and TVOC are accurate.
